In 1956, the Martyrs' Cemetery of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Shenyang. In the twilight, Zhu Jinxiang, a journalism student at Peking University, rushed to the scene, but the opening hours had been missed and the cemetery was closed.

Close at hand, but unable to meet her lover, the grief of 5 years of suppression broke out in an instant, tears poured out, and she cried at the staff:

"He's inside, we haven't seen him since the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, please, let me go in and see him!"

The door opened for her, and one tombstone after another looked for it, and finally saw "Martyr Lu Mingkun". Under the cover of cangsong cypress, in the silent cemetery, a solemn and solemn, touching the tombstone, Zhu Jinxiang cried bitterly.

Lu Mingkun is her fiancé. At the time of the sacrifice, he was 22 years old and she was 18 years old.

In 1951, when her fiancé died on the Korean battlefield, Zhu Jinxiang did not eat or drink for 3 days, and 55 years later he fulfilled his promise

Under the blue sky, the first love is green

Zhu Jinxiang is a native of Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, and since she was a child, she has been like a wild boy with an active personality. By chance, she met the heroic pilot, fell in love with the military uniform, and was full of expectations for the blue sky hero.

In 1949, she followed her eldest sister to Shanghai. It was learned from the newspaper that the Cultural and Labor Corps of the East China Aviation Department was recruiting, and Zhu Jinxiang immediately signed up. Soon, in the admission list, she saw her name. She was 16 years old.

After 3 months of training, the comrades-in-arms were diverted one after another, and Zhu Jinxiang packed his backpack and reported to the units of the Shanghai Second Air Division.

The new post was a trainee accountant for the communications team, and the office was only two or three miles from the airport runway, where the roar of the planes could be clearly heard. Every time she saw the fighters roaring through the blue sky, she was inexplicably excited.

There were very few female soldiers in the army, and they always received special attention, and slowly, enthusiastic people began to match her, but she refused. Subconsciously, the door of love is only open for the blue sky hero.

In early 1951, a comrade-in-arms mentioned Lu Mingkun to her, and this time, she did not refuse.

Lu Mingkun is the deputy commander of the third brigade of the sixth regiment of the second division of the air force, although he is only 22 years old, he joined the army at the age of 13, has been on the anti-Japanese battlefield, and is already a full-fledged veteran.

"He is from Shandong, tall and handsome, he does not turn a corner when he speaks, and he is very straight. I liked him as soon as I saw him, and I liked him when I saw him, in short. ”

One is simple in appearance, burly and generous; one is tall and young, and the first time they meet, in just half an hour, they have a good impression of each other.

Lu Mingkun and Zhu Jinxiang

He is the heroic image in her mind, and Zhu Jinxiang secretly agrees that he is looking forward to meeting again. Unexpectedly, Lu Mingkun did not have the following. Disappointed, she forced herself not to think about him. Two months later, just as she was about to forget about him, she suddenly received news of his appointment.

"I haven't heard from you for such a long time, so he wants to meet him?" Zhu Jinxiang was a bit of a gamble.

However, the truth is that after the first meeting, Lu Mingkun identified her, and immediately reported to the organization after returning to the unit. The pilot talked about the object, the political trial is very important, he can only anxiously wait. As soon as the results came out, he asked her to meet as soon as possible.

After learning this, Zhu Jinxiang was both shy and sweet. After that, the two met and saw each other once a week.

First love is restrained and beautiful. There was no flower before the moon, no sweet talk, no meal together, even sitting side by side on a bench, with a distance of one person in between.

On her wrist, she was wearing a watch given by her family, and he wanted to see it, but he did not dare to touch her hand; when he fought with the Japanese soldiers, he had a scar on his stomach, and she only dared to secretly imagine it.

On the photo given to Zhu Jinxiang, Lu Mingkun wrote in a disciplined manner: "Comrade Jinxiang took a souvenir: I hope you will strengthen your study, enhance your class consciousness, temper yourself in your work, and continue to work hard with the spirit of selflessness." ”

On the big cap, the eagle flapped its wings, and Zhu Jinxiang also looked forward to it, and their love blossomed.

Lu Mingkun

The brightest youth, full of sorrow

At that time, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea was in full swing, and the troops also held a mobilization meeting.

Once, Lu Mingkun said half-jokingly: "This time to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, maybe when the hero returns, maybe he will be sacrificed." ”

Seeing her nervousness, Lu Mingkun pretended to be relaxed: "You see you are still a child, I did not die in the army and the Japanese face to face with the bayonet, and now there is the plane, this big guy protects me, and you the 'protector god', the little photo you gave me has always been in my pocket!" ”

Zhu Jinxiang

On the surface, the clouds were light and breezy, but in fact, he came down from the anti-Japanese battlefield and knew that life and death were only a matter of an instant. In order not to worry her, he never mentioned these two words again.

Entering the war is imminent, the training is getting more and more intense, and the meeting is getting less and less, but Lu Mingkun is always full of pride and very optimistic. Influenced by him, Zhu Jinxiang also expressed his determination to the organization and asked to go to the front. In a letter to him, she said:

"Comrade Mingkun, for the sake of future happiness, for the sake of building more solid feelings based on politics, at present, we can only go our separate ways and wait for victory to return, how pleasant that scene is..."

The group was about to be greatly transferred, and Lu Mingkun came to bid farewell to Zhu Jinxiang. Sitting on the abandoned golf course, he and she agreed: "When the war is over, we will go back to our hometown in Shandong to see my mother!" ”

The two hands clasped tightly together, just comradely. In the whole relationship, this is their most intimate act, but unexpectedly, it is also the last time they meet.

On that day, Lu Mingkun also gave Zhu Jinxiang a gift: a green trumpet Guan Leming gold pen.

Because the troops had strict confidentiality rules, he did not say which day to leave. Shortly after the separation, she received his letter in a cheerful tone: "This time we all went to exercise, you are exercising in a war environment, I am exercising in air combat." You want me to be a hero, and I hope you will strive to join the party and become a model at an early date. ”

At the end of the letter, he also told her: "It is not cold there now, and the mountains of soybeans, sorghum, and bud rice are all green, and there is a special feeling, there is a taste of Guanwai." ”

Lu Mingkun's letter to Zhu Jinxiang

In the blue sky, one fighter after another rushed into the clouds, and Zhu Jinxiang knew that Lu Mingkun had gone to the battlefield. Soon, she also went north with her troops, stationed on the Yalu River in Fengcheng.

At the organ, Zhu Jinxiang received the first letter from Lu Mingkun after he arrived at the front line, in which he said that they were at the Dagushan Field Airfield and the task was tense. He also said that they were about to issue a skydiving medal, a medal he was going to give to her.

In the letter, he also attached two photos, which were a group photo of him and his comrades-in-arms when they first arrived at the Great Lonely Mountain. The comrades joked that they had returned triumphantly and were waiting to drink their happy wine.

However, the cruelty of the war was soon felt by Zhu Jinxiang. News of the death of comrades kept coming, and if any kit was circled, it meant that another fighter had lost its owner.

In December 1951, she finally received a letter from Lu Mingkun, the handwriting was a little sloppy, and it was obvious that the writing was urgent. "The combat tasks are getting heavier, but our fighting spirit is still undiminished," he said. We will work hard to fulfill our promises, and when the war is over, we will happily talk about the future! ”

The future, how exciting! However, Zhu Jinxiang never thought that it was the last words he left for her.

Because the division headquarters suddenly received instructions to withdraw, three days later, Zhu Jinxiang withdrew to Shanghai, and she often used the excuse to go to the left-behind place to inquire about the situation. One day, a comrade-in-arms said: "I heard that the three major teams..." Knowing that he had lost his word, the other party immediately changed the topic.

There were three captains of the three major teams, and the first captain had already died, Zhu Jinxiang knew it in the northeast, and the rest were the second captain and Lu Mingkun.

Despite her premonitions, she didn't want to believe it. Back at the dormitory, she tried to write to Lu Mingkun:

"New Year's Day is coming, 1951 is about to pass, but I don't know how you are fighting this time, how are you in health?" Deeply concerned.

I often wish to see your handwriting until victory returns, and I pray from afar that you will be healthy and happy, and that you will fly a few more planes to fulfill your prophecy. ”

His handwriting, but she never waited, came bad news. The leader of the unit formally talked to her, and at the end of 1951, he died in the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

The letters she had written to him, the pictures she had given him, were returned to her hands. Facing the golden pen he had given him as a parting moment, she bit her lip and wept silently.

The heart was broken into a thousand pieces. For three whole days, she shut herself in her room, not eating or drinking.

In the bright youth, full of pain and sorrow, that year, the winter in Shanghai, was particularly cold.

In 1951, when her fiancé died on the Korean battlefield, Zhu Jinxiang did not eat or drink for 3 days, and 55 years later he fulfilled his promise

A promise, kept for life

Man, struggling to get up, but the pain, but always drilled the bone. Whenever she saw people in flight suits walking by, Zhu Jinxiang would think of Lu Mingkun, and in order not to be sad, she would also avoid him from a distance when she saw his former comrades-in-arms.

In 1954, Zhu Jinxiang changed careers and went to work at the East China Bureau of Statistics. When the authorities called for admission to the university, she applied for the Department of Journalism of Peking University, and she wanted to write down the heroic stories of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

She was admitted as she wished, and at that moment, she wanted to share it with her beloved, but he was no longer there.

In her sophomore year, Zhu Jinxiang went to Harbin Daily for internship, and she rushed to the Martyrs' Cemetery of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Shenyang to visit Lu Mingkun. The fingers of memory gently stroked, and the past came to the fore. He left for 5 years, and her thoughts were always the same.

"Strive to join the party as soon as possible, and go to my hometown in Shandong to see my mother in the future!" Standing in front of the tombstone, she promised him.

In 1958, Zhu Jinxiang graduated from university and became a reporter for Lanzhou Daily. After that, she started a family. For various reasons, the issue of joining the party has always been wrong and wrong, and it has not been possible to catch up, and later, after experiencing various political movements, it has been wrapped up in fate and cannot help but move forward.

Rehabilitating her husband, running for her children, and implementing policies for ourselves, one thing after another, 30 years have passed. However, those letters in the war, from Shanghai, Beijing, and then to Lanzhou, followed her around, and not a single one was lost.

The innocent love at the age of 18 is always buried in the bottom of my heart. In 1986, Zhu Jinxiang went to Changchun for a meeting, and she made a special trip to Shenyang to visit Lu Mingkun.

In her heart, she spoke to him: "Your soul must be able to feel that I have come to see you, and in my lifetime, I will definitely go to my hometown in Shandong to visit my mother." ”

After retiring from Lanzhou, Zhu Jinxiang settled in Shanghai. In the summer of 2006, at the age of 73, she stepped on a train heading north alone. Finding Lu Mingkun's hometown, she learned that his mother had fled to the Northern Wilderness with his sister many years ago.

Continuing all the way north, I finally met Lu Mingkun's sister in Heilongjiang. Sadly, his mother has died.

In the 8 days in Heilongjiang, the two old people walked into the memories together, from teenagers to youth, that young life was alive again.

After returning to Shanghai, Zhu Jinxiang used his personal experience as the theme to create a long novel "A Female Soldier's Sky", which is a memorial and a consolation. She said:

"The reason for telling my story is to let more people remember our history, remember the heroes and martyrs who gave their lives for the people and the motherland, not forget the wars that were raging in the past, and remember the hard-won happiness of today's happy life."

The world turned into clouds and smoke, and the vicissitudes of the sea became mulberry fields. Only that innocent love, diamond-like eternity.
