On December 30th, the 2021 "East + West" International Design Week and "Diversity and Dialogue" International Lithograph Exchange Exhibition, co-sponsored by Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and China Printmaking Museum, and hosted by the School of Visual Art and Design of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Museum of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, opened at the Art Museum of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in the form of salon exchange activities. According to Wu Ping, curator of the exhibition and dean of the School of Visual Arts and Design of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, the exhibition gathered works of outstanding artists from all over the world, and exhibited more than 130 works by more than 90 artists from China, the United States, Russia, Australia, Britain, Japan, Germany, Slovakia, France, South Korea, Belarus, Poland, Spain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Thailand and other countries.

China has a long history of printmaking development, before the introduction of lithography technology to China, China's motherboard printing technology has been relatively mature since the Tang Dynasty, and gradually prospered and developed for more than a thousand years, making great contributions to the inheritance and development of China's warm art. In the development of today's lithographs, the international community has formed three major types of lithographic techniques, lithographs, metal plates, and pre-painted light-sensitive plates, with traditional techniques and new technologies coexisting and thriving, and attaching equal importance to inheritance and accumulation and experimental innovation. The application of new materials and new technologies not only expands the connotation of the concept of lithograph ontology, constructs the new physical characteristics of lithography, but also makes the traditional printmaking art show new infinite possibilities under the intervention of new materials and new technologies, so as to obtain new artistic appearance and aesthetic characteristics, so that printmaking can highlight the unique language characteristics and spiritual characteristics of contemporary printmaking under new social conditions, obtain new vitality, and present a trend of diversified and diversified development. At the same time, the use of new materials and new technologies, while breaking through the traditional lithograph appearance, has also promoted changes in the artist's way of thinking and creation mode, giving birth to a new artistic language and artistic style.

Since the age of 19 in the Hubei Provincial Academy of Fine Arts contact with printmaking, he seems to have been destined and the fate of printmaking closely linked, after graduation in order to study printmaking in depth, from 2005 back to Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, he has been studying the layout for many years, and strive to break through, the exploration of printmaking techniques is what he has been pursuing for 31 years.
