On April 16th, Liu Haisu Art Museum and Lu Yanshao Art Institute jointly launched the 3rd Shanghai Contemporary Emerging Printmaking Promotion Jiading Tour Exhibition and the "Garden 'Jia' @紫藤" Printmaking Season Aesthetic Education Activity with high-quality exhibitions as the "medium" and the garden "Jia" wisteria season as the "bridge".
At the event, Guo Mengdi, an artist from Tianhua College of Shanghai Normal University, gave a red "micro-lecture" with the title of "Analysis of the Significance of the Emerging Woodcut Movement", explaining the definition of printmaking, the historical significance of China's emerging woodcut movement, the integration and enterprising of Chinese and Western cultures, and the classification of printmaking printing, interpreting the red spirit of Chinese printmaking.
It is reported that a total of 70 prints were selected in this exhibition, striving to reproduce the true portrayal of the real situation of the Chinese people, "I think this exhibition has the characteristics of the times and the imprint of the times, and reflects life well in the form of prints." It is reported that this year is the third year that Liu Haisu Art Museum and Lu Yanshao Art Institute have cooperated to hold exhibitions. On the day of the event, the on-site class of "Big Hands Holding Small Hands" Wisteria Season Art Museum also entered the Jiading Wisteria Garden, bringing a unique watercolor sketching class to the children of Lily Kindergarten in Jiading District. Under the guidance of the teacher, the children painted a picture of childlike spring scenery on the paper, and got close to nature and observed nature through their own brushstrokes.
