Spring is the prelude, and all things are harmonious. As the days get warmer, Guardian Blue has launched a limited edition whisky and prints of "Dragon Teng Jiachen" co-branded by Mr. Ren Zhong, a famous contemporary Chinese painter.

Heavy responsibility, thousands of miles, number Yizhen, born in the seventies. He is well-known in the painting world for his exquisite painting skills and noble artistic style. His works, whether they are flowers and birds, landscapes or figures, all show a noble and beautiful, elegant and quiet artistic style. In terms of painting skills, he started with the painting of flowers and birds in the Two Song Dynasty, chased the style of the Jin and Tang dynasties of the five dynasties, and studied the orthodoxy of various families, forming his "all-rounder" artistic talent, and reproducing the lost snow bamboo painting method of Xu Xi of the five dynasties. In addition, his extensive cultivation in poetry and printing has been commented by art critic Mr. Xue Yongnian as "the leader of the new generation".

Ren Zhong drew the scene of "Dragon Teng Jiachen".

In 2024, in the Year of the Dragon, Ren Zhong meticulously created the Chinese painting "Dragon Teng Jiachen", with the theme of the traditional Chinese five-clawed golden dragon, with snow waves rolling up, dragon claws holding beads, auspicious clouds gathering, and wind rolling clouds, showing the artist's inheritance and admiration for traditional culture, and perfectly integrating the heaviness of ancient Chinese culture with people's wishes for a better life. Based on the original, the printmaking "Dragon Teng Jiachen" introduces five themes: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, which are distinguished by the color of the dragon balls in the dragon's claws. Each print is limited to 399 pieces, 1-100 and special editions are the Supreme Collector's Edition, with Ren Zhong's own autograph and original seal cover, China Copyright Society certificate and Ren Zhong authorized collection certificate and frame. This time, Guardian Blue has two pieces to choose from in each of the five themes of the Supreme Collection prints.

At the same time, there are two whisky co-branded by the artist himself, namely Renzhong's "Dragon Teng Jiachen" co-branded Jura 33-year old single malt whisky and Renzhong's "Dragon Teng Jiachen" co-branded Macallan 30-year old single malt whisky, each bottle with an independent edition number and the artist's own signature. Because the golden dragon in the painting shows a vigorous and elegant posture, there are several points to choose a wine that can be used with it: the uniqueness of the winery, the vintage of the wine, and the richness of the taste but not aggressive.

The Isle of Jura distillery is located on the famous Isle of Jura island, where the famous writer George Orwell wrote his dystopian novel "1984", which became a literary classic. Established in 1810, Jura Winery is the only winery on the island and is named after the island. The taste of the finished product is unique and not inferior to other famous wineries. This Chula 33 Year Old Single Malt Whisky has a strong duality, it is very fragrant at first, and the moment you drink it, it will feel like a low-yielding wine, refreshing and clean, but it quickly changes, slightly bitter, which is typical of Chula - a rich mineral taste. The finish rhyme is sweet again, and the whole mouth is sweet. This change in flavour gives the whisky a sea breeze, like the feeling of a dragon rising from the sea. The wine is soft and full-bodied, with a smooth and evocative mouthfeel. The OB (Distillery Bottled) that is commonly seen in the market at Jura Winery is basically past Sydney barrels or red wine barrels, and it is rare to be able to age the wine in bourbon barrels from the beginning, but this wine has a very pure taste and can taste the characteristics of the winery.

The Macallan was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reed. At the beginning of the 20th century, The Macallan was revered for its outstanding quality and became a world-renowned whisky brand. The brand's success stems from the ultimate dedication to quality and craftsmanship. The winery uses the highest quality raw materials, the production process is strictly controlled, and the oak barrels used for aging are carefully selected to ensure the consistency of the product quality. In the auction market, The Macallan has repeatedly broken the highest record and is known as the "Rolls-Royce" of whisky. The co-branded Macallan 30 Year Old Single Malt whisky has citrus, malt and fresh floral aromas at first, pear and orange sweetness on the palate, rich oily layers, and a long-lasting malt and oak finish after swallowing. Complemented by the vibrant dragon in the collaboration's paintings, this whisky has an impactful palate and a rich aroma that resembles a dragon rising above the clouds.
