"Historical Imprints" and "Personal Publications" sections

There are many natural and intimate connections between printmaking and books. The form of "book" is varied, from the earliest in China in the form of a handscroll rather than a book, and in the West, the earliest printed books appeared in the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance, mainly in the form of a book. Due to the large number of pictures they contained, Western bookbound books were popular with the public and the market, and the original books of this type were called "cradle books".

"Indirect Painting" section

This section exhibits nearly 100 printmaking series by ink artist Wu Yi and painter Kong Qian. According to the curatorial teacher, as a category of painting, printmaking can be regarded as an indirect way of painting. The artist should not only continue his own personal style, but also take into account the ontological language characteristics of printmaking.
