When I saw it when I was a child, I thought that the person who wrote this poem must be an outstanding person, showing compassion for the suffering of the people and sympathizing with the people. Later, when I really learned about Li Sheng, I realized that your "Mercy Nong" is just your protective color.
First of all, to justify Li Sheng's name, many people on the Internet say that one of Li Shen's bad deeds is that he likes to drink chicken tongue soup, and he uses dozens of chicken tongues every time he drinks. Drinking chicken tongue soup does exist, but it is not Li Shen, but Lü Mengzheng of the Song Dynasty.
Li Shen became famous, and after becoming an official, he became a violent person, keen on pursuing fame and profit, and did not care about the feelings of the people. For example, li sheng because the exploitation was too serious and caused the people to leave their hometowns, after his subordinates reported to Li Sheng, Li Shen said instead: Holding wheat in his hand, what is blown away by the wind is chaff, and what is left behind is full of wheat. It can be seen that Li Shen is already accustomed to this kind of luxurious life, but in the view of Liu Yuxi, the assassin of Suzhou, it can be "broken", that is to say, it is an extremely luxurious thing.
It's not that it is not allowed to enjoy, but Li Sheng, who was once remembered by everyone because of "Mercy Nong", is actually like this, which is inevitable to make people sigh.
Second, Li Jinglong was repeatedly defeated in battles
At that time, Mingyue described for us in "Those Things of the Ming Dynasty" the image of Li Jinglong, a "Great Ming God of War". I have to say that Li Jinglong's rot in fighting is really difficult to talk about. Why would a man who fought so badly be recommended as a commander in arms of hundreds of thousands? Is it just because his father is Li Wenzhong?
Later, I flipped through the history books and found that Qi Tai, Huang Zicheng and other close ministers of Emperor Jianwen at that time were actually the people who recommended Li Jinglong. Later I found out about Li Jinglong's early life. The History of the Ming Dynasty records:
