Poetry: Notes on the Town of Zhonglu

Zhonglu Town Notes

Author: Tang Xu

1

The Yujiang River runs from east to west

In the form of flashbacks

Complete an epic flow

Zhonglu is the beginning of this grand narrative

The hole in the brain is the foreshadowing buried by the river

2

A true pure land

It is empty, such as the male and female

Empty mountain, empty temple

The monk was lost in the smoke and rain of magic

The bird is chanting

Ants are walking on their feet

The stone is meditating

Everything has an order

3

Sanyuan Hall is a Taoist temple

There was originally a ferry port at the foot of the Taoist Temple

The ferryman does not take anything

Daogu with a long sword on his back

A martial artist who falls in love with the drama team

They shouted on the stormy night that they had eloped

Unforgettable love

There must be some kind of bondage and breaking

4

Rhubarb Barrel Rock and Small Yellow Barrel Rock

Like two eyes staring at the sky

As if waiting for something

The stream at the bottom of the pit is a flowing tear

No one can understand the silence you are deeply trapped in

5

There must be an autumn wind running around with a torch

There must have been Metasequoia that was ignited

There is a kind of red

Irrelevant to parties and flags

There is a kind of uprightness

It is the attitude of life

6

Why is this place called Nanjing Village

There is no answer in the history books

Those horse gangs carrying tribute tea

Disappeared on the yellowed map of Jinjing

Someone stretched out a cracked palm from the depths of history

Ask me for a fire and light a cigarette

In Chungro, I want to be a toastmaster

Dominate this side of the landscape

Bring a tent and sleeping bag

Go enjoy the first night right of each canyon

7

Don't go through the history books

If you turn it over again, you will bump into the moon of the Southern Song Dynasty

Longqu County ordered a hand-cranked folding fan

A kabuki with his arms around the gambling hall

Like a rhyme

Bet on four copper coins

Bluestone streets, walking through chivalrous guests

Bandits, schoolboys, hawkers

There are masked women in the corners of the walls

Left a mark

8

It is still a tea garden of the Song Dynasty

The mountains are full of running green

In a pot of tea soup

I tasted the flowers and birds of the valley

Drink too much, and a spring will grow in your heart

Drink a little more, and the body will have a river rushing

9

Want to take you to see the fireworks

Look at her beautiful splendor

It's like the opening and closing of a person's life

I'm also a tube of fireworks

The heart is stuffed with gunpowder

Waited for a lead

10

Loved Chungro citrus

Loved the sweetness in her sourness, the sourness in her sweetness

Like love and hate over and over again, entangled

Suddenly wanted to peel off an orange

Same as stripping clothes

Peel away her hidden shyness

11

I was born in Red Ridge Village

There are wooden houses, peach blossoms, streams

There is a small vacant lot

Suitable for growing poetry

I sat at my grandfather's grave for an afternoon

Looking at the village, he didn't say a word

Practice death in advance

12

I've been to a lot of places in my life

When I get old, I go back to the countryside

Farming, brewing wine, chopping wood

Or sit at the base of the wall

Ruminating the grassy years

Come, don't call me by my name

I couldn't hear it with the back of my ear

You walk into the house

I thought it was the wind that blew the courtyard door open
