On December 28, DPCA released news through official channels that it had completed its annual sales target of 100,000 vehicles ahead of schedule this year, and its single-month sales exceeded 10,000 for three consecutive months, achieving positive year-on-year sales growth for 13 consecutive months.

In the past two years, due to the impact of the epidemic and the transformation of the industry, French cars have been facing greater pressure in China. As a representative of French cars, DPCA has not seen an improvement in sales in the following years since the end of the positive growth trend in 2016. In 2020, severely affected by the epidemic in Wuhan, the sales volume of DPCA fell from 700,000 vehicles in the peak period around 2015 to less than 50,000 vehicles, a year-on-year decline of 58%.

In order to reverse this situation, this year, DPCA has set a sales target of 100,000 vehicles, and under the guidance of the Yuan + plan, it has successively launched a number of new cars, such as the 2021 C6 Comfort Edition, 2021 Tianyi, the new 4008, the new 5008, the new C3-XR, the 508L 2022 model, the Versailles C5 X, the 2008 THE ONE and the Tianyi Riding Adaptation Edition, etc., accelerating the pace of new product launch.

Among them, Versailles C5X is one of the heavy products introduced to the market by DPCA automobile this year, this car in the product force to change the French car in the past left a "beggar under the top" impression, in the entry-level model to achieve the same level of joint venture brand products in the high-end configuration, and the user attention, high frequency use of the configuration used in the main sales model.

According to DPCA, this year, DPCA's Wuhan plant, Chengdu plant and Xiangyang engine plant have achieved substantial growth in output, of which the Wuhan plant has increased by 194% from September to November, and the Chengdu plant has completed 8,200 new car deliveries in November, and the output in December is expected to exceed 10,000 units.
