Qiu Huizuo, a very good general in our People's Liberation Army, was awarded the rank of founding lieutenant general in 1955, but unfortunately his end was not very good, and he was expelled from the party in 1973, and later sentenced to 16 years in prison and deprived of political rights for 5 years.
In 1914, Qiu Hui was born in Xingguo, Jiangxi, because he had been squeezed by the landlords' old wealth since he was a child, so Qiu Hui naturally hated these landlords incomparably, and later the local armed forces of the peasants were launched in his hometown, so Qiu Hui chose to participate.
In 1932, the 18-year-old Qiu Huizuo joined the Communist Party of China, and then successively served as the propaganda captain, political instructor, and general branch secretary of the Fifth Red Army.
During the Liberation War, Qiu Huizuo and Lin Shuai met, and then because of his outstanding ability, he was vigorously promoted by Lin Shuai, and he made many contributions in the Liaoshen Campaign, the Pingjin Campaign and other battles.
In 1955, Qiu Huizuo was awarded the rank of founding lieutenant general, and later served as the director of the General Logistics Department, the deputy chief of general staff and the director of the General Logistics Department, but who could have imagined that qiu Huizuo's subsequent outcome was indeed not very good.
Fortunately, Qiu Huizuo's wife, Hu Min, has always been inseparable from her husband; Hu Min was a military doctor, and in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, Hu Min saved the lives of a large number of soldiers of our army and made great contributions to the work of our army's guards.
After her husband Qiu Huizuo was censored, it was true that Hu Min was also censored for a while, and then Hu Min was arranged to go to a farm in Shaanxi Province to supervise labor, of course, this is also a good opportunity to exercise himself and hone himself in difficulties.
In 1983, after her husband Qiu Huizuo was released on medical parole, his wife Hu Min was also returned to Shaanxi, and for a long time to come, Hu Min and Qiu Huizuo lived in a very simple house in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an.
However, in fact, the living conditions of the two people are still not very good, so that the old couple once lived by opening a service clinic, until the age of the two people was too old to choose to close the door.
It is true that in those days, Hu Min and Qiu Huizuo's life was very difficult, but in fact, the mentality of the two people was very good, because at least compared with the countless revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives, they were already very lucky, and for this reason they jointly supported and cared for them, because they believed that as long as they lived bravely, their lives would slowly get better sooner or later.
In the early 1990s, when the living conditions of Hu Min and Qiu Huizuo were greatly improved, the organization arranged for them to live in a provincial cadre retirement center in the southern suburbs of Xi'an City, and since then the life of the old couple has indeed been much more comfortable than in the past.
On August 3, 2002, the founding lieutenant general died in Beijing at the age of 88, while his wife, Hu Min, died on November 24, 2015, at the age of 94.
