General Wang Jinshan, the "Madman of the King", may not be known to everyone, but when it comes to the famous Li Yunlong in "Bright Sword", everyone must be very familiar with it. In fact, General Wang Jinshan is the prototype of Li Yunlong. Wang Jinshan joined the Red Army very early and was also an excellent military general of our army; he participated in the Red Army's Long March, the War of Resistance Against Japan, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
During the Liberation War, he successively served as the commander of the Sixth Column of the Central Plains Field Army, the deputy commander of the Third Corps of the Second Field and the commander of the 12th Army, and other series of positions, after which he led the troops to participate in a series of battles such as the Battle of Dabie Mountain, the Battle of Huaihai, the Battle of Crossing the River, and the Liberation of the Great Southwest, and made many outstanding achievements. However, due to personal life reasons, he was punished by the organization for his divorce lawsuit with his spouse, was demoted to the rank of colonel, and was sent to a farm in Xihua County, Henan Province, as a deputy field director. It was exactly 6 years later that Wang Jinshan, who had deeply realized his mistakes, was reactivated and appointed deputy chief of staff of the Nanjing Military Region, and was able to return to the army after a long-term departure from the army's long-standing "Wang Madman". When Wang Jinshan went to the Nanjing Military Region to serve as deputy chief of staff, the three military commanders personally greeted him, and the commander personally received the wind for him!
