The "Planning" proposes that by 2025, China will become the source of global robot technology innovation, a high-end manufacturing agglomeration and a new highland for integrated applications. The average annual growth rate of operating income of the robot industry is more than 20%. Manufacturing robot density doubled.

Wang Hong said in response to a question from the "Daily Economic News" reporter that in recent years, with the acceleration of the pace of transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, the demand for industrial robots has surged, the scope of application has continued to expand, and the density of manufacturing robots has increased significantly from 51 units / 10,000 people in 2015 to 246 units / 10,000 people in 2020, reaching nearly 2 times the global average.

At the same time, service robots such as sweeping robots, shopping guide robots, drones, and surgical robots have also entered our lives and achieved commercial applications in the fields of home, entertainment, and medical treatment.

"However, compared with economic and social development and people's yearning for a better life, the application of robots in China is still insufficient, and there is still a lot of room for expansion." Wang Hong said.

He said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, we will vigorously carry out the "robot +" application action for industrial transformation and consumption upgrading, focusing on the following three aspects.

The first is to deepen the application of the industry. In the fields that have formed large-scale applications, such as automotive, electronics, machinery, warehousing and logistics, smart homes, etc., we will focus on developing and promoting new robot products, developing high-end application markets, and deeply promoting intelligent manufacturing and smart life.

The second is to expand emerging applications. In the field where the initial application and potential demand are relatively strong, such as mining, agriculture, electric power, emergency rescue, medical rehabilitation, etc., combined with specific scenarios, robot products and solutions are developed, pilot demonstrations are carried out, and the application space is expanded.

The third is to strengthen the characteristic application. In specific subdivision scenarios, links and fields, such as sanitary ware, ceramics, hardware, furniture and other subdivisions, key links such as glazing, polishing, polishing, and palletizing are formed to form professional and customized solutions and copy and promote, create characteristic service brands, and form new competitive advantages.

On the one hand, as the key equipment of the modern industry, robots can lead the digital development of the industry and intelligent upgrading; on the other hand, as an important life tool and a powerful assistant to cope with the aging of the population, robots can improve the quality of life.

"During the '14th Five-Year Plan' period, in the face of the development of manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture and other industries, as well as the needs of family services, public services, medical health, old-age assistance for the disabled, special environment operations and other fields, we will focus on promoting the innovation and application of key products such as industrial robots, service robots and special robots, and promote the high-end and intelligent development of products." Song Xiaogang said.

In terms of industrial robots, we focus on developing high-precision and high-reliability welding robots for the fields of automobiles, aerospace, rail transit, vacuum (clean) robots such as automatic handling, intelligent movement and storage for the semiconductor industry, civil explosives production robots with explosion-proof functions, logistics robots such as AGV, unmanned forklifts, sorting, packaging, etc., and collaborative robots for large loads, light weights, flexible, double arms, and mobile in the field of 3C, auto parts, etc., which can be moved anywhere in the work area. Mobile operating robots with reachable attitude and flexible operation capabilities.

In terms of service robots, we will focus on the development of agricultural robots such as orchard weeding, precision plant protection, picking and harvesting, livestock and poultry feeding, and silt cleaning, mining robots such as mining, support, drilling, inspection, and heavy-duty auxiliary transportation, intelligent production of building parts, concrete pouring, decoration, and structural parts installation, medical rehabilitation robots such as surgery, nursing, and inspection, elderly care robots such as walking assistance, bathing, and emotional escort, household service robots such as housework, education, and entertainment, and explanation guidance, catering, Delivery and other public service robots.
