On February 10, 2022, Mr. Zhang, a resident of Dongcheng Community in The East Welfare Road Community of Chenping Street, Xigu District, went to the community early in the morning to report the noise problem caused by his upstairs neighbors. After receiving the feedback, the community party committee attached great importance to it, and in combination with the actual conditions of the work, it immediately set up a temporary working group composed of social work committees, stationed cadres and community properties, and rushed to the Dongcheng community to visit the matter at the first time.
Mr. Zhang lives in Room 1404, Building 3, Dongcheng Community, because the occupants of Building 1504 upstairs process and produce curtains at home, causing noise disturbance and seriously affecting the lives of residents, and after many fruitless negotiations, it was reflected in the community. Through visits, members of the Social Work Committee and stationed cadres found that 1504 households not only produced and processed curtains in the residential building, but also stored a large amount of cloth in the room, which had serious fire safety hazards, and once a fire accident occurred, the consequences were unimaginable. The working group explained the seriousness of the problem to the residents of 1504 and immediately asked to move out as soon as possible for rectification. Subsequently, the working group came to Mr. Zhang's home, reflected the problem, gave mr. Zhang feedback on our visit, and popularized the solution to the problems arising from the production and operation in the house. Mr. Zhang also expressed his understanding and expressed satisfaction with the mediation work of this visit.
Through the visit, the noise disturbance incident was properly handled, did not cause the problem to escalate, and effectively alleviated the neighborhood contradictions. This visit is not only an incident jointly handled by the community and the resident cadres, but also a starting point for the resident cadres to participate in the community work. At the same time, the working group of stationed cadres said that in the future work, it will participate more actively and actively in the work of the "Social Work Committee" and play an active role in better carrying out the work of the "Social Work Committee" in the East Welfare Road community.
