On February 10th, the "Shengjing Veterans" Gu Dormian Lei Feng Volunteer Service Team of Sujiatun District and volunteers from the Sunflower Community in Sujiatun District jointly carried out volunteer service activities.
There are broken floor tiles on the front steps of the community, and the pavement is uneven. Gu Dormian brought bricklayer tools such as toothless saws and spatulas from home and led the volunteers to start the renovation. After a complete set of "professional" repair operations, such as planing pavement, slate, leveling pavement, and clearing debris, the pavement has been flattened and praised by community residents.
During the 5-hour volunteer service activity, volunteers have a clear division of labor, orderly and work together to create a livable environment and facilitate the travel of the people.
Since the beginning of the year, the Sujiatun District Veterans Affairs Bureau has actively carried out volunteer work for veterans, given full play to the role of veterans as "leading geese," and encouraged the vast number of veteran volunteers to always maintain the true colors of soldiers, not to retire from the army, not to fade when retiring, not to change their clothes, and to bravely compete for the lead, take the lead, and continuously provide a series of volunteer service work for the general public in the special action of "revitalizing new breakthroughs, I want to be a pioneer."
