In order to further strengthen the safety management of school buses and prevent and reduce traffic accidents involving school buses, on February 11, Dongguan Traffic Police Qingxi Brigade United Town Education Management Center and other functional departments formed an inspection team to enter the Third Primary School of Qingxi Town to carry out a special centralized inspection of school bus safety.
In the process of inspection, the inspection team, in line with the goal of not missing a car, compared with the school bus registration form in the jurisdiction, concentrated all the school buses in the town in the third primary school, and reviewed the working accounts of "one car and one gear" one by one, comprehensively checked the qualifications of school bus drivers, and prohibited the use of hidden danger vehicles such as school bus signs, overdue inspections, overdue scraps, etc. At the same time, a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle's lights, tires, wipers, escape hammers, dry powder fire extinguishers, first aid kits, school bus sign lights, parking signs, etc., ordering units with potential safety hazards in school buses to rectify immediately, and resolutely eliminating "sick cars" on the road.
Next, the Qingxi Brigade of Dongguan Traffic Police will work with relevant departments to increase the road inspection of school buses, strictly investigate all kinds of traffic violations on school buses, effectively eliminate hidden dangers in school bus traffic safety, and create a working atmosphere of strict management, strict investigation and severe punishment for school buses, so as to escort teachers and students.
