With a total area of 3.48 square kilometers, there are 21 residential communities and 1 bungalow area, with 5,788 households and 12,491 residents. The community is divided into 10 grids, equipped with 10 full-time grid members, the community party committee consists of 4 party branches, 249 registered party members, and was rated as the first civilized community of Baotou City in March 2014.
In 2013, Ming'an Community established a special day care center, with a total area of about 1,000 square meters, a total of 17 rooms, and an activity room equipped with entertainment facilities. In 2023, it will be developed into a central kitchen, which produces coarse grain pasta products on a daily basis to meet the basic food needs of community residents, while providing three meals a day. After learning that some elderly people in the community have limited mobility and need to deliver meals, the central kitchen immediately upgraded its service and began to provide door-to-door meal delivery services. Up to now, more than 1,000 door-to-door meals have been delivered, effectively solving the lunch problem of more than 40 elderly people and alleviating the "worries" of the children of migrant workers. Through continuous improvement of community functions, Ming'an Community allows the elderly in the community to eat at ease and comfortably, and provides high-quality, efficient and convenient warm-hearted services for the residents.
