Tesla's domestic car owners have accumulated 3.75 billion kilometers this year to reduce carbon emissions by 850,000 tons

Webmaster's House (ChinaZ.com) December 28 News: Recently, Tesla China released this year's new energy contribution report to the country. According to Tesla, more than 500,000 domestic Tesla owners helped accumulate 3.72 billion kilometers in the first 11 months of 2021. That's a distance equivalent to about 59 journeys between Earth and Mars.

By driving this accumulated distance, Tesla owners in China helped reduce carbon emissions by 855878 tons between January and November 2021.

Tesla drivers in China have not only helped reduce carbon emissions. When operating the vehicle, they are also able to enjoy a lot of expenses. According to a report by Gasgoo, using Tesla's home charging solution helps car owners reduce the cost of charging their car to just 5-7 yuan per 100 kilometers. That's about 10 percent of the cost of refueling a comparable fossil fuel-powered car. In addition, the number of electric vehicle owners installing Tesla's home charging system will increase by 40% in 2021.

Tesla China is also expanding its network of superchargers nationwide in 2021. Tesla has built more than 1,000 supercharger stations and more than 8,000 charging piles in Chinese mainland, covering multiple provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the central government. Tesla's destination chargers have also added more than 100 new sites. This brings the number of Tesla destination chargers to more than 700 locations in China, providing consumers with more than 1,800 charging stations.
