The Public Security Traffic Management Bureau of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau issued the Notice on Adjusting the Traffic Management Measures for Motor Vehicles and Non-Passenger Cars Entering Beijing During the New Year's Day period in 2022 on its official website.
Notice on adjusting the traffic management measures for motor vehicles and non-passenger cars entering Beijing during the "New Year's Day" period in 2022
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Partial Holidays in 2022 (Guoban Invention Electricity [2021] No. 11) and the Notice of the Beijing Municipal People's Government on the Implementation of Traffic Restriction Measures in The Area During Peak Hours on Weekdays (Jing Zhengfa [2021] No. 6), it was decided to make the following adjustments to the traffic management measures for motor vehicles and non-passenger cars entering Beijing from January 1 to 3, 2022:
1． Motor vehicles in the city are not subject to traffic management measures in the area during peak hours on weekdays.
2． Non-city passenger cars entering Beijing are not allowed to drive on roads within the Fifth Ring Road (inclusive) from 7:00 to 9:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, and from 9:00 to 17:00 according to the traffic management measures of the tail number area of the license plate.
