Beijing, February 21( 21 February, 2019 According to the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, the online voting of the public for the mascot and slogan collection activities of the 16th Beijing Municipal Games will officially open today.
Organizer method, since December 1, 2021 for the public to collect mascots and slogans for the 16th Beijing Municipal Games, the event has received widespread attention and active participation from all walks of life. At the end of the collection, a total of 144 mascot entries and 5110 slogans were received. The solicitation activities have a wide range of participation, covering all walks of life, old, middle- and young age groups, among them, a Grade 5 student hand-painted mascot and made a mascot model with clay to help the 16th Beijing Municipal Games in his own way, and the teachers and students of the "XueRongrong" design team of Jilin Art College also actively responded to the participation.
After the preliminary selection of the organizers, 80 mascot works and 100 promotional slogan works participated in the online voting. The public can log on to the official website of the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, the Beijing Municipal Sports Competition Management and International Exchange Center and the official WeChat public account, pay attention to the "Sports Beijing" and "Beijing Arena" Sina Weibo to enter the voting channel, learn the details of the works, and vote for their favorite works.
In this selection activity, the organizer is based on the selection principle of "openness, fairness and fairness", and after the end of the public voting, the expert selection will be carried out, and finally the results of the public voting and the expert selection opinions will be combined to finally determine the list of award-winning works. Among them, there are 1 mascot winning work award, 2 mascot finalist awards, and 10 publicity slogan winning works awards. The Mascot Winner Award and The Finalist Award will also be invited to the opening ceremony of the 16th Beijing Municipal Games.
Hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the Beijing Municipal Games is the highest level of comprehensive sports events in the city, held every four years, and the 16th Beijing Municipal Games will be held from May to October 2022.
