There is certainly a talent component to learning, but skills and methods should not be overlooked. Today's "Feynman Method" must be read carefully for your child.

Improve your child's learning efficiency by 90%? Try the Feynman learning method - output is forced to input

Feynman Method

The graph above shows the retention rate of learning content marked by the Feynman learning method, and I will explain it roughly

1. Listening to lectures: This part of the learning content can only leave an impression of 5% in our brains (excluding individual talented players). Of course, don't ignore it because it's only 5%. At the top of the pyramid, it is an indispensable presence, and it is the foundation and source of all memories. So it's a top priority to attend classes!

2. Reading: This part of the learning content is retained in our brains for 10%, and it includes our usual reading aloud and simple review. This is what we often call repetitive memory.

3. Audio-visual and demonstration: This is actually our usual homework process, listening, speaking, reading and writing, and deepening of memory.

The first three parts are all passive absorption of learning content, and they are also the three actions that our children often do. Passive learning is often not very efficient, which is why most children do not perform well.

The last three parts are active learning and the key to memory deepening!

1. Discussion: Share what you have learned with your parents, and turn it into a warm memory between you like a family chat.

2 Practice: Work with your parents to interpret what you have learned and bring it to life!

3. Teach to others: This process is the process of children becoming teachers, and teaching what they have learned to others means that children have succeeded for most of their time!
