Qingwei | saw snowflakes fluttering in the port city again

Text/Sun Jianye

Just after the winter solstice, the city of Hong Kong has just fallen a decent snow. The Ruixue Mega Year heralds a good omen for our lives in the new year.

In the early morning, I opened the curtains, only to see snowflakes flying all over the window, fluttering and sprinkling, a good northern scenery. It was a surprise to see snow in my hometown of Yantai in winter, so I quickly put on a thick down jacket, put on my cotton shoes, and quickly went out to enjoy this beautiful snow scene.

Facing the cold little north wind, I followed the green flower belt of the community, using my mobile phone to shoot every snow scene, not far away from the buildings, plants are covered by heavy snow, like a silver world, and into the camera is that the children playing in the distance, red, yellow, green and blue costumes also add bright colors to the silver earth...

Looking at the picture on the mobile phone, my thoughts also flew with the fluttering snowflakes to the adolescent era when I went to school in my hometown.

The winter of the sixties is still so cold in retrospect. Snow fell one after another, the red tile houses in the surrounding villages, and the empty fields were all white, except for snow or snow. Less than two miles to school, a few classmates and I braved the cold north wind to walk on the ice slippery road with one snow nest footprint after another, when the snow on the country road was not clearly swept, and it was naturally piled up and trampled. Snowball fights, you chase me and play is our permanent game, and it is not so cold when playing, and it is time to go to school.

What I remember vividly is that one winter, my father, who worked in Xinjiang, sent me and my sister a thick cotton coat, and I remember that my one was coffee-colored, my sister's was dark blue, or a fashionable plush collar. In that era, this costume undoubtedly led the new trend and made the students envious for a long time.

At that time, the school was a stove, and there were daily students on duty. A stove is set up in the middle of the front of the classroom, and the classroom is still relatively warm. The home mainly relies on the fire to warm up, and a stove is set up in the sleeping house with slight conditions, and it will be heated in the evening. Living in that hard time, everyone felt the same way. In Jiaodong, coal is the tightest, and whether it is crops or straw sticks in the field, everyone will pick them up clean, and even the leaves on the road will be picked up and taken home to make firewood.

The primary and secondary school years are wonderful and carefree. After class, the students ran on the large playground, playing snowballs and playing various games, and the sound of cheerful laughter resounded over the campus. The interest group is busy and has to take care of the rabbits raised in the class, so our day of study life is very fulfilling. Innocent and lively, innocent and true is a true portrayal of our time.

In the Erti era, hardships and hardships have laid a deep imprint on our generation, and also tempered our will, so that we can feel the difficulty of our fathers from an early age, and know that we are grateful to our parents for being grateful to society, determined to become talents, and serve the motherland.

Today, we sit in the warm building, enjoying the high quality of life, admiring the snowflakes falling outside the window, but I still can't forget the snowflakes fluttering as a child.

"Grandpa, how about we play snowball together", I don't know when the little granddaughter ran to my side, I happily agreed to the child's request, and played a snowball fight game with the innocent and lively little granddaughter...
