Sichuan yesterday added 1 new locally confirmed case, in Chengdu

Update on the novel coronavirus pneumonia situation in Sichuan Province (released on December 27)

At 0-24:00 on December 26, there were 3 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia in Sichuan (of which 2 cases were imported from abroad: 2 cases were confirmed for asymptomatic infected people on December 25; 1 case in China, which was confirmed on December 26 for the cargo handling staff of inbound cargo planes managed by Chengdu City closed-loop), 2 new cured and discharged cases, no new suspected cases, and no new deaths.

As of 24:00 on December 26, the province has reported a total of 1,309 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia (including 718 imported from abroad), a total of 1,278 cases have been cured and discharged from hospital, 3 cases have died, 28 cases are currently isolated and treated in hospitals, and 532 people are still under medical observation.

At 0-24:00 on December 26, there were 3 new cases of asymptomatic infection in the province (all imported from abroad, 1 case arrived in Rongrong by plane from Cambodia on December 8, 1 case arrived from Cambodia on December 15, 1 case arrived from Cambodia on December 22, all diagnosed as asymptomatic infected people on December 26), 2 cases were turned into confirmed cases on the same day, 1 case was released from centralized isolation medical observation on the same day, and 37 cases were still under centralized isolation medical observation.

(The specific circumstances of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons shall be notified by the relevant municipal health commission)

As of 24:00 on December 26, all 183 counties (cities, districts) in the province were low-risk areas.
