On December 24th, the annual excellent works exhibition of Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting (Provincial Art Museum) was launched at Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum.
The Provincial Academy of Painting was established in 1980, the Provincial Art Museum was established in 1962, and the Provincial Calligraphy Activity Center was established in 1984. In the past few decades, famous artists represented by Chao Lin and Yu Zhixue have stepped out of here, creating two major art brands of Longjiang printmaking and ice and snow landscape painting. Entering a new era, the Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting has repeatedly achieved good results in the national art calligraphy exhibition, won many awards such as the gold medal of the 12th National Art Exhibition, and many works have been selected for the national major theme art creation project. At present, the Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting has more than 30 full-time creators, involving Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, calligraphy, seal engraving, engraving and other creative fields.
In April 2021, the Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Painting, the Provincial Art Museum (Provincial Printmaking Institute) and the Provincial Calligraphy Activity Center were integrated into the Heilongjiang Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and the provincial art museum brand was added. This exhibition of excellent works comprehensively presents the artistic outlook and creative level of Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting (Provincial Art Museum).
