【November 2021 Joint Venture Vehicle Sales Ranking Joint Venture SUV Sales Ranking】Although the chip shortage has eased and the supply of joint venture vehicles has picked up compared with previous months, sales of joint venture SUVs in November are still lower than in the same period last year. According to the statistics compiled by the editors of the car purchase network, the wholesale sales of the joint venture SUV market in November 2021 were 452,000 units, down 60,400 units from the same period last year, down 11.8% year-on-year; compared with October, the sales volume of joint venture SUVs increased by 44,200 units, an increase of 10.8% month-on-month.
Unconsciously, the Tesla Model Y, which only started delivering cars at the beginning of this year, has been the champion in the sales of joint venture SUVs for many months, and the wholesale sales reached 26,759 units in November.
Nissan Qashqai, Toyota RAV4 and Honda XR-V all sold more than 18,000 units, ranking second to fourth respectively, and overall sales were good. Among them, the Honda XR-V continues to be the sales champion of small SUV, while nissan Qashqai is the sales champion of the joint venture compact SUV.
Four Japanese SUVs, including Honda Binzhi, Toyota Willanda, Honda Haoying, and Honda CR-V, all sold more than 15,000 units. Among them, Veranda sold 17,729 vehicles, up 59.9% year-on-year, reaching the best sales level since its listing. Although sales of honda CR-Vs picked up at 15,520 units, they were only about half of the sales level of the same period last year.
Among the top eight joint venture SUVs sold, Japanese SUVs occupy seven models, which shows that Japanese cars are still the most popular models in the SUV market.
In terms of luxury brand SUVs, Mercedes-Benz GLC has become the sales champion of the BBA for two consecutive years, with sales of 14,760 units in November, ranking ninth. Audi Q5L sales of 13346 units, ranked eleventh, down 21.0% year-on-year; BMW X3 sales were not satisfactory, only 5529 units, down 55.3% year-on-year.
In addition, the BMW X1 sold 8595 units, the Audi Q3 sold 8300 units, the Mercedes-Benz GLB sold 6648 units, the Volvo XC60 sold 5926 units, and the Cadillac XT5 sold 5094 units.
The Volkswagen brand sold more than 10,000 vehicles in two models, of which the Tiguan L sold 14,055 units, ranking tenth, and the Volkswagen Tuyue sold 11,142 vehicles, ranking twelfth. Last year's hot sales of Volkswagen Tanyue, sales in November were only 9453 units, down 54.0% year-on-year. Volkswagen Tange sales were only 7730 units, down 43.9% year-on-year.
With the increase in supply, the Highlander sold 10,385 units in November, selling more than 10,000 units for two consecutive months. Buick Encore sold 10,002 vehicles in November, down from 13,852 units last month and down 54.1% year-on-year.
