On December 23, GAC Group announced the 8th meeting of the sixth board of directors to summarize the completion of operations in 2021. According to the announcement, GAC Group expects to produce and sell approximately 2.098 million units and 2.113 million units in 2021, up about 3.1% and 3.4% year-on-year, respectively. In 2022, we will target a 15% year-on-year increase in vehicle production and sales.
From January to November, GAC Aeon's cumulative sales have exceeded 100,000 vehicles, reaching 105,700 vehicles, which has exceeded expectations and achieved the annual target, and is expected to reach 120,000 vehicles in the whole year. GAC Trumpchi peaked at 35,000 units in the first two months of the fourth quarter, and is expected to sell about 300,000 units during the year.
As of the end of November, GAC Honda's cumulative production and sales this year reached 693,000 units and 702,000 units, respectively, while GAC Toyota's cumulative production and sales reached 720,000 units and 729,000 units, respectively, and production and sales are expected to reach 800,000 units during the year.
According to the announcement of the meeting, the board of directors of GAC Group also deliberated and passed the "Proposal on the 2022 Business Plan of GAC Group". Towards 2022, GAC Group will fully challenge the goal of increasing automobile production and sales by 15% year-on-year in 2022.
