On December 21, Beijing time, the "2021 Huawei Intelligent Vehicle Solution Ecology Forum" was officially opened, and Mr. Xu Wei, Director of the Intelligent Driving Technology Department of GAC Research Institute, revealed the latest cooperation plan with Huawei.

It is understood that based on Huawei's latest generation of intelligent driving computing platform series MDC 610, GAC Aian AION LX is equipped with L2++ NDA advanced intelligent driving auxiliary function model, which will be launched in the world in 2022.

By 2023, also based on Huawei's MDC 610, GAC Trumpchi will be equipped with L2++ NDA advanced intelligent driving assistance functions, which will achieve the world premiere of fuel vehicles.

In 2024, based on Huawei's MDC 810 with stronger computing power, GAC Aegean will release a new architecture for L4, when new models will also be unveiled.

The cooperation between GAC Group and Huawei began in 2017 and has gone through 4 years so far, during this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, GAC Research Institute officially released a newly upgraded "Xingling" electronic and electrical architecture, which is the product of in-depth cooperation with Huawei.

The architecture is composed of three core computer groups of automotive digital mirror cloud and central computer, intelligent driving computer and infotainment computer, with high-speed Ethernet, 5G, information security and functional safety and other technologies, which can efficiently support pure electric and hybrid models of vehicle-cloud integrated centralized computing electrical and electrical architecture.

Among them, the autonomous driving domain controller adopts the 7nm process Huawei Ascend 610 high-performance chip, which can support the expansion of computing power of 200-400TOPS, and also has 2.4GPix/sISP image processing capabilities, which is equivalent to 2 times that of similar chips. In terms of function, it can realize the high-speed, urban working conditions complex road auxiliary driving function, and can achieve L2++ level of high-level intelligent driving.
