Red Net Moment, December 20 (Reporter Su Liya) Reporter learned from the Zhuzhou Writers Association that at the fourth plenary session of the Tenth National Congress of the China Writers Association held on December 16, Wan Ning, vice chairman of the Provincial Writers Association, chairman of the Municipal Writers Association, and editorial board member of Zhuzhou Daily, was elected as a member of the Tenth National Committee of the China Writers Association. She was also the first writer in Zhuzhou to be elected as a member of the National Committee of the China Writers Association.

Wan Ning began to publish his works in 1991, and published more than 2 million words in publications such as "People's Literature", "Contemporary", "October", "Chinese Writers" and other publications, and has been selected by many anthologies, and has published the novel collection "Busy Around", "Mahjong", "Card", the prose collection "Tonight There is a Date", "The Passing Years", "Telling" and so on. The novel "Beyond the Castle" is a key work support project of the China Writers Association, and will be published by Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House in December 2021. Representative works include a series of novellas such as "A River In Front of You", "Dry Eyes", "Circle of Friends Classmate Group", "Southern Love and Northern Love" and so on. Among them, "Mahjong" was first published in the third issue of "Contemporary" in 2007, won the fourth Mao Zedong Literature Award, "Lying on the Mountain to See the Stars" was first published in the eighth issue of "Chinese Writers" in 2018, and in July 2021, it was selected into the fourth volume of the "100 Literary Short Classics of the Centenary of the Founding of the Party" by the People's Literature Publishing House: Entering a Brilliant New Era.

"I feel honored to be successfully elected as a member of the National Committee of the China Writers Association, and I feel that the burden on my shoulders is heavier." Wan Ning said that as a newly elected member of the Tenth National Committee of the China Writers Association, she will tell the story of the new era, portray the image of the new era, convey the values of the new era, sing songs for the people, and cast the soul for the times. At the same time, she will, as always, focus on realistic themes, use literary works to reflect the vivid life of the moment, write the daily life of ordinary people, refract the big times with small details and small characters, and march towards the depth of history, the breadth of society, the strength of life and the difficulty of art.

It is reported that at the fourth plenary session of the Tenth National Congress of the China Writers Association, a total of 214 members of the Tenth National Committee of the China Writers Association were elected, and 5 people from Hunan were elected. In addition to Wanning, they were Hu Geping, secretary of the party leading group of the Provincial Writers Association; Wang Yuewen, chairman of the Provincial Writers Association and first-level inspector; Tang Sulan, vice chairman of the Provincial Writers Association and professor of the College of Literature of Hunan Normal University; and Xie Zongyu, vice chairman of the Provincial Writers Association and director of the Management Office of Mao Zedong's Academy of Letters.
