About the Author
Jiu Hesheng: male, Lisu ethnic group, born in May 1976 in The Dragon Boat Festival, a native of Nipro Village, Guden Township, Lushui City, Yunnan Province. He joined the army in December 1996 and was demobilized in December 2001. He is a student of the 12th Senior Seminar for Young and Middle-Aged Writers (Ethnic Minority Writers Class) of Lu Xun Literature Institute and a student of the First National Seminar for Ethnic Writers with Small Populations. He is a representative of the Second Young Writers Creation Conference in Yunnan Province and joined the China Writers Association in 2008. He is currently the deputy secretary-general and director of the office of the Lisu Ethnic Research Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Ethnic Society and the Lisu Development Promotion Association.
So far, his works have been published in Yunnan Daily, Fangcao, Times, Shandong Literature, Dianchi, Baijia, Shichao, etc
In 2014, he won the "Nomination Award" of the second top ten young people in Nujiang Prefecture.
