The Lisu people are a migratory ethnic group and belong to one of the "Wuman" tribal groups in the Tang Dynasty. Since the eighth century, after several large-scale migrations, it has gradually developed into a single people. After the fifteenth century, there was a long-term war between the Mutusi of Lijiang and the serf owners of Tibet, and the Lisu people, who had become the serfs of the Mutusi, crossed the Lancang River from the Jinsha River and crossed the Biluo Snow Mountain into the Nu River under the leadership of their clan leader "Mubi". This is the earliest group of Lisu people to enter the Nu River.
