Hangzhou, December 18 (Huang Lingyi) reporters learned from the press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Zhejiang Province on the 18th that at present, the age of the infected people in this round of epidemic in Shaoxing is the youngest 1 year old and the oldest 88 years old.

The data shows that since December 5, as of 16:00 on the 18th, Zhejiang has reported a cumulative total of 460 confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infected person. Among them, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, has reported a total of 358 confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infected person.

The confirmed cases of this round of the epidemic in Zhejiang are mainly concentrated in Shaoxing. In view of the admission and treatment of infected people in this area, Sun Liming, deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, introduced that at present, all confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people in Shangyu District of Shaoxing City are concentrated in the Affiliated Hospital of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences. As of 12:00 on December 18, the hospital managed 352 confirmed patients and 1 asymptomatic infected patient. Among the confirmed cases, there are 104 ordinary cases, 247 mild cases, 1 severe case (the severe patient is an elderly patient, the condition is generally stable), and there are no critical cases.

In order to strengthen the medical treatment of patients, Zhejiang adheres to the "four concentrations" principle of "concentrating patients, concentrating experts, concentrating resources, and concentrating treatment", and strives to improve the effectiveness of treatment.

In terms of centralized patients and centralized treatment, the province decided to open the designated hospital for the treatment of new crown pneumonia (the affiliated hospital of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences) from 20:00 on December 10, vacate the patients in the current hospital, and suspend all diagnosis and treatment services. In order to do a good job in medical treatment, Shaoxing City re-established the management structure of designated hospitals, and 645 medical backbones were drawn from municipal hospitals to carry out treatment. "At present, the number of beds in designated hospitals that meet the requirements for the treatment of new crown patients has reached 858, which can meet the requirements for centralized treatment of confirmed cases at this stage." Sun Liming said.

In terms of concentrating experts and resources, the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission has dispatched a total of 13 provincial hospital experts to participate in the medical treatment of patients in the affiliated hospital of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences. Among them, there are 8 experts from the First Hospital of Zhejiang Medical College (National Center for Infectious Diseases) with rich experience in the treatment of new crown patients, 1 expert from Zhejiang Provincial Children's Hospital (National Children's Regional Medical Center), and 4 experts from Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the same time, the First Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University has set up a provincial-level intensive care team of 100 people, and once it is necessary, the provincial-level intensive care team will take over the intensive care ward.

In addition, Zhejiang has also strengthened the case management of confirmed patients, given full play to the role of the expert group in condition judgment, diagnosis and treatment consultation, etc., smoothed the consultation network between the provincial designated hospital and the Shaoxing designated hospital, and established a provincial expert team to remotely consult the condition of Shaoxing and other confirmed cases in the province, and regularly conduct disease research and assessment.

Sun Liming said that at present, among the confirmed patients in Shaoxing, the oldest is 88 years old and the youngest is 1 year old, there are 5 cases ≥ 80 years old, 68 cases ≥ 65 years old, 22 cases of children, and some patients are accompanied by chronic underlying diseases. "The expert group will focus on this part of the special patients, strengthen analysis and judgment, adhere to the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and timely rescue and intervention; and arrange a team of full-time psychologists to enter the ward to strengthen the psychological intervention of new crown patients and medical staff."
