Recitation is not memorization!

In the last live broadcast last night, Cao Hongyu, vice chairman of the Recitation Education Professional Committee of the Beijing Municipal Education Association, principal of Cao Can Art School, head of Cao Can Art Troupe, and director of the recitation display review of the children's poetry conference network display area, was a guest in the live broadcast room, combined with common problems in the primary display activities, such as material selection, recitation emotional expression, 1+1 content display and other aspects, to communicate with everyone how to prepare the works for the promotion display.

Without further ado, let's review it with the editor!

Highlights to review

At the beginning of the live broadcast, Teacher Cao said that as a judge of this online display, this time I watched the video of the junior display contestants of the Children's Poetry Conference and found the following problems:

The first is the problem of material selection. Teacher Cao said that the children's poetry conference, as the name suggests, is the content related to poetry. This involves the understanding of the genre - what is poetry, some students choose the wrong material, such as "Yueyang Louji" and "Young China Says", these are prose.

Some students still choose too big works, such as "Man Jiang Hong" and "Will Enter the Wine", these works are really good, the layers are very rich, but as a child, can you really grasp it? Can the skills you master and the face of your language really express the emotions of your work?

You choose a big work, you can't say that you use a small expression to express it.

In the process of explaining the content of this part of the selection of materials, Teacher Cao encouraged the students to create more original poems that reflect the lives of young children.

Teacher Cao also said that during the review process, it was found that a lot of the content of the +1 part was written by parents or teachers, and the child was a state of memorizing the manuscript, in fact, this is not right, this part of the child should be a more natural expression.

Recitation is not memorization!

Immediately after, Teacher Cao mentioned the problem of recitation cognition. Teacher Cao said that the first thing to do to learn recitation is to prepare for the basic skills.

(1) The basic skill of language: is the sound and breath clear enough and loud enough, is it controllable? Is the word pronunciation accurate? After the word is pronounced accurately, can the word be correct and round, so that people can listen to it comfortably?

(2) Positive expression state and sense of communication. Whether it's reading or reciting, can I get involved? Many students are in a state of memorizing the manuscript and have not really entered the work.

(3) Eyes, expressions, and movements are all trained, and every action, every expression, and every look comes from the mind. As a parent or instructor, you can adjust your child's movements, but do not pose to your child.

After explaining the self-prepared content, Teacher Cao also answered some real-time questions in the live broadcast room.

Q: What does it mean to recite 1+1?

A: Recitation 1+1 was originally established to provide a stage for children to express themselves, and the +1 part can be the child's understanding of the work, or what can be associated with the work. There is no restriction on the specific content, as long as it is the child's independent expression.

Q: What kind of works can get high scores?

A: A work that expresses nature, has a good language outlook, and is sincere in emotion is a relatively good recitation work.
