Infiniti, who had been silent for many years, finally moved again. On December 16, the new Infiniti QX60 opened pre-sale, priced at 450,000-660,000 yuan, a total of 6 models were launched.
As a luxury brand that can still appear in the monthly sales statistics list at the peak of the domestic market, Infiniti's subsequent situation is not exaggerated to describe it as "deteriorating". From 2016 to 2020, Dongfeng Infiniti sold 17,415 units, 20,164 vehicles, 19,114 vehicles, 10,820 vehicles and 8,951 vehicles, respectively.
From January to October this year, Dongfeng Infiniti's cumulative sales volume was 6433 vehicles, down 65.3% year-on-year.
Such achievements have hardly caught up with the monthly sales of mainstream brands.
The reason is that since entering China in 2014, only two major products have conquered the market with Q50L and QX50, and the replacement is slow. Whether in terms of quantity or quality, it is difficult to adapt to the current rhythm of the times.
But apparently, Infiniti didn't give up. The all-new QX60 is its staunchest rejection of marginalization.
In fact, in the view of Interface News, the current Dongfeng Infiniti has not much room to go down, and any bright spot in product and operation can make it achieve "bottoming out".
At the product level, Infiniti hopes to create the style of the "Oriental Modern Luxury" brand through this new car. The exterior and interior design are detailed in many details that express this style concept.
The front grille of the new car is shaped with origami-shaped front grilles, from the body to the roof to the silhouette, with simple and powerful lines. Digital key-type Signature i-LED head and tail lights create a sense of beauty.
The new generation infiniti QX60 offers four new exterior colors: Streamer Platinum, Dawn Blue Gray, Galaxy Black, and Hao Hai Blue. Among them, the dawn blue-gray color scheme will change with the different ambient light and viewing angle, and the perception will also change.
The new generation of Infiniti QX60 has a body data of 5127mm*2005mm*1767mm (length, width and height) and a wheelbase of 2900mm. Larger than the same class of Lexus RX, Cadillac XT6 and other models in size.
In the interior part, the design and materials such as water ripple shape diamond seats and dark open lacquer ash wood bring quality feelings. The 12.3-inch full LCD HD 3D instrument cluster and the leading 10.8-inch head-up display system HUD in the same class enhance the sense of technology in the car.
The interior of the new car as a whole adopts the four concepts of "simplicity, width, concealment and ingenuity" to interpret the understanding of modern oriental luxury for space design.

Through the optimization of the design, the front view angle is increased, and the field of view of the rearview mirror is enhanced, so that the driving field of vision is wider and the driving safety is improved. The new generation of Infiniti QX60 has a 25% increase in acoustic carpet coverage, a 20% increase in the area of door panel acoustic materials, a significant reduction in the area of underbody through-holes, and acoustic noise-reducing glass in the front and front doors, plus an aerodynamic kit and ANC active noise cancellation, to maximize the isolation of outside noise.
