It is worth noting that during the war of resistance against Japan, the army led by the Communist Party of China had branches such as the Eighth Route Army and the Red Army, which has always been a feature that many people have paid attention to. What is the difference between the Eighth Route Army and the Red Army? Most people don't know, they didn't expect such a big difference. In fact, they all have a common nature as a whole, that is, they all belong to the anti-Japanese army, and they all participated in the War of Resistance Against Japan, which dealt a heavy blow to the Japanese army. However, in the case of subdivision, it is different. Each army has its own characteristics, and the timing of their birth varies.
In our country, the Communist Party was the first to lead the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. This army had already appeared during the agrarian revolution and had participated in many wars. However, at that time, there was no Japanese invasion, and it was more of a rebellion against the Kuomintang. At that time, the Red Army was indeed very hard, and after the failure of the 5th anti-encirclement and suppression campaign, the Long March was also carried out, and we are all familiar with the spirit of the Long March. At that time, the Communist Party led the Red Army through the meadows and through the snowy mountains, all the way ups and downs. But they never gave up, and after such persistence, they finally succeeded in reaching the meeting place, allowing them to complete their mission, and also further helping the Communist Party to rise and grow into an army that could truly resist the Kuomintang.
Compared with the Red Army, the Eighth Route Army has a different nature. The emergence of the Eighth Route Army was related to the Xi'an Incident, and after Chiang Kai-shek agreed to the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communists, the Red Army in northern Shaanxi accepted the reorganization, and after the reorganization, this Red Army became the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, referred to as the Eighth Route Army. Therefore, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, people more often called the Red Army the Eighth Route Army. As soon as the name is heard, it means that the Communist Party has come and can lead the peasants to resist the Japanese army together. It is precisely because the Eighth Route Army plays a powerful role in the battlefield behind enemy lines that the Japanese army will always be stunned by us. Although we also paid a terrible price, at least it did not make the Japanese better.
In fact, if we look closely, we will also find that we once had the People's Liberation Army. It is also known from the name of this army that it has nothing to do with the War of Resistance Against Japan. This army was formed during the Kuomintang Civil War, mainly to wage war with the Kuomintang and constantly go to liberate the areas occupied by the Kuomintang. Thanks to the efforts of the People's Liberation Army, new forces were brought to our country, and the Communist Party gradually gained the upper hand, eventually forcing Chiang Kai-shek and others to Taiwan. Therefore, the role played by the PLA is more reflected in China's reunification and promotes the great cause of China's reunification. In fact, if Chiang Kai-shek could show some tolerance, he would not be attacked by the People's Liberation Army. It was his toughness that led the Communists to fight back and eventually establish a new China.
It can be seen that these different natures of the army have their own era, and they also play different roles. It is precisely because of the existence of these armies that our country has undergone different development processes and has also possessed complete strength. After the People's Liberation Army, China rarely launched large-scale wars, and the subsequent wars to resist US aggression and aid Korea and the anti-Vietnam war were all wars of a self-defensive nature that would not bring too many losses to the Chinese people, and China was also under the protection of these armies, gradually gaining growth and gradually entering the world track. At present, the Chinese army has undergone fundamental changes, not only well-equipped, but also extremely high-quality personnel, and has truly developed China's strength.
