There is such a story: the wife and the outsiders have an affair, intending to poison the husband with wine, the concubine knows it, she deliberately overturned the cup of poisonous wine and saved the husband. But the husband felt that she had made a mistake and punished her, and the concubine's long mouth could not be said clearly. This story comes from the mouth of a minister, who told (made up) his innocence in order to prove his innocence, and such a person naturally turned his head quickly.

And this person is the famous lobbyist and spy in history, Su Qin. Su Qin often said with Zhang Yi that the things the two did looked completely different, and in fact belonged to the art of vertical and horizontal. Su Qin joined forces and advocated that the six kingdoms unite to resist Qin, Zhang Yi was just the opposite, one force after another, with three inches of uncorrupted tongue to say that the six countries were close to the Qin state, from this point of view, they were sworn enemies.
However, both of them were from the Zongheng family, and both were under the Ghost Valley, but Zhang Yi's origins were later than Su Qin's. Coincidentally, neither of them died in the country where they worked, but instead died in other countries, Zhang Yi died in the State of Wei and Su Qin died in the State of Qi; both countries suffered great losses from them, Su Qin, as a spy, was mainly in the State of Qi before his death, and his real master was the State of Yan in the north.
Su Qin died after being assassinated, and the person who assassinated him was none other than qi guo's scholar. Su Qin was favored in the State of Qi, naturally some people were not accustomed to him, in 284 BC, the people who secretly targeted Su Qin heard that Su Qin was going to die, and they were overjoyed, not realizing that a crisis was coming at him. With Su Qin's personality, those who offend him (or the country) must take revenge.
So Su Qin came up with an idea on his deathbed, and he told the King of Qi Tang that you would be beheaded in public and sentenced to death by car splitting, and announced to the outside world that I was treated this way because I had committed the crime of espionage in a vain attempt to subvert the State of Qi. Whoever kills me will be rewarded with a large sum of money and be knighted, so that the murderer will throw himself into the net. King Qi Tang did so, and sure enough, the forces behind him immediately surfaced. But the problem was that the scholar of the State of Qi was not stupid, so why did he not resist the bait thrown by Su Qin?
The reason was simple, that is, Su Qin made the Assassin forces believe his accusations. This crime was not a fiction of Su Qin, he really did those things - a few years before his death, Su Qin was to let the State of Qi "return to Yan" more than a dozen cities and pools of the State of Yan that had been built down, and also vigorously advocated that the King of Qi should build a lot of civil engineering and publicize the strength of the State of Qi, with the real purpose of destroying the State of Qi and making the State of Yan profitable.
It can be said that Su Qin has always been loyal to the Yan Kingdom, and even if the King of Yan doubted him, he did not change his original intention. The murderer who killed Su Qin was actually killing Qi Guo, but Su Qin's mouth was too able to say that after a long time after the murderer died, the King of Qi found that the pot that Su Qin had buckled for himself was not a pot, but an iron-plated fact. How much can Su Qin really say? And look at his return to the city:
The King of Qin married the princess to the Prince of Yan, and after the crown prince took the throne, the State of Qi began to fight the State of Yan and won consecutive victories. The King of Yan asked Su Qin to go and get back the lost city, and Su Qin ran to the King of Qi and said: The State of Yan and the State of Qin have formed a family, and the King of Qi has beaten the State of Yan, is it not to give the State of Qin face? You only see the small profits in front of you, you don't see the big crisis behind it! Offended the Qin kingdom, there are your hard days to survive.
King Qi was so frightened that he really returned those cities. On the surface, Su Qin helped the State of Qi, but in fact it was the State of Yan that profited. Of course, if you meet a clever monarch, Su Qin's strategy may not be successful. After Su Qin's death, a series of activities he planned for the Yan kingdom were exposed, and he didn't know what king Qi was thinking in his heart, but he must have been very depressed.
