For homework apps that provide and disseminate "photo search" and other bad learning methods that inert students' thinking ability, affect students' independent thinking, and violate the laws of education and teaching, they are temporarily offline. After rectification and reform are in place and reviewed by the provincial-level education administrative department, the filing can be resumed; if it fails to pass the review, the filing shall be revoked.

The essence of "taking photos to search for questions" is that after the user takes a photo, the system uses the existing question bank to give the answer. Because it can reduce the workload and improve the efficiency of teaching and auxiliary, the "photo search" App has been favored by some teachers and parents in recent years, and naturally has become a fragrant feast for capital to chase. However, there are two sides to everything. With the "Take Pictures and Search Questions" app, some students are often too lazy to use their brains when doing homework, and directly use their mobile phones to search for answers and copy them. On the one hand, it will affect the teacher's judgment of the teaching effect, which is not conducive to teaching and learning; on the other hand, it will also make students lazy to think, and their thinking will become blunt.

Since the beginning of this year, the relevant departments have begun to stop the "photo search" App in an all-round way. On July 24, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the "Double Reduction" opinion, which clearly required online training institutions not to provide and disseminate bad learning methods such as "taking photos and searching for questions" that inert students' thinking ability, affected students' independent thinking, and violated the laws of education and teaching. Subsequently, the market supervision departments in Sichuan and other places issued advertising tips for off-campus training institutions, requiring that such training advertisements should not be produced or published. Today, the Ministry of Education has requested the temporary removal of the "Photo Search" app, which is welcomed by many parents and teachers.

For the "photo search" app that has grown barbarically for many years, it is also time to rectify the norms. Of course, it should be seen that the "photo search" app itself does not have original sin, the key lies in how to use it correctly, and use the strengths to avoid the shortcomings. In the notice of the Ministry of Education, it was not beaten to death, but required that the rectification be in place and the filing could be resumed after review. Next, how to rectify has become the focus of attention of all parties.

At this point, the "photo search" App may wish to learn from the practice of short videos and game platforms, and on the basis of the implementation of real-name authentication, launch a targeted "youth mode" to regulate students' use behavior in terms of duration and function. On the one hand, according to the difficulty of the question classification, simple questions do not show the answer, complex questions change "teach people to fish" to "teach people to fish", give ideas for students to solve problems independently, help students develop the habit of thinking with their own brains; on the other hand, limit the number of students' daily use time and number of search questions, so as to avoid their formation of inertia and excessive dependence on external tools. The majority of parents should also correctly treat and use the "photo search" App, as far as possible when facing the child's request for help, let the child think for himself, and experience the joy of sudden enlightenment after contemplation, rather than blindly pushing the child to the mobile phone.
