Today (December 14), we learned from the official that BYD Semiconductor continued to integrate its own advantages on the solid basis of previous research and development results, successfully independently developed and mass-produced 1200V power device driver chip - BF1181, and realized mass supply to major manufacturers in December this year.
The BF1181 is a magnetically isolated single-channel gate driver chip for driving 1200V power devices with excellent dynamic performance and operational stability, and integrates a variety of functions such as fault alarm, active Miller clamp, primary and secondary undervoltage protection, etc. The BF1181 also integrates analog level detection for temperature or voltage detection and improves chip versatility, further simplifying system design such as size and cost.
Official information shows that BYD's self-developed 1200V driver chip BF1181 has a wider range of applications and can be applied to EV/HEV power modules, industrial motor control drives, industrial power supplies, solar inverters and other fields. Prior to this, the power device driver chip was easy to ignore because of its small single value, which accounted for a relatively low proportion of the cost of the automotive electronic system, but it was on a par with the power device in the automotive electronic system and played a vital role in new energy vehicles.
Automobile incident three: Meidong Automobile acquired the Star Chasing Automobile Sales Group for 3.7 billion yuan
A few days ago, Meidong Automobile announced that it has acquired all the issued shares of Chasing Star Automobile Sales Group Co., Ltd. for RMB3.7 billion. After the closing, Chasing Star Automobile Group will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meidong Automobile, and the company's assets, liabilities and financial results will be consolidated into the consolidated financial statements of Meidong Automobile.
Meidong Motor said the acquisition was in line with the group's operational strategy to improve efficiency. The acquisition will significantly increase the Group's new car sales and expand the Group's existing customer coverage, in line with Meidong Automobile's expansion strategy. The dealer network of Chasing Star Automobile Group will complement the existing network of Meidong Automobile and create synergies.
According to the announcement, the acquisition funds will be divided into three payments, the first is a deposit, the date of the acquisition agreement is 350 million yuan; the second fund is 2.95 billion yuan, which is paid for the delivery date; and the third final payment of 400 million yuan is paid within five business days after the integration of the delivery difference.
