Liu Changqing, Wang Wei and Meng Haoran of the Tang Dynasty were all famous poets during the Kaiyuan Tianbao period of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. Although Wang Wei was forced to hold a pseudo-post during the Anshi Rebellion, he had the best ending, Liu Changqing was repeatedly degraded, and Meng Haoran repeatedly failed to seek official positions.
Hong Liangji interpreted the fate of the three from the perspective of the poet. Although the words of the family may not be true, it is a great inspiration for the poets.

First, Wang Wei's workplace emotional intelligence
Hong Liangji mentioned the difference between these three people in the "Beijiang Poetry":
That is, like a who official, Mahabharata: "The ruling party holds the law, and the ming emperor has no such heart." If it is not special, it will return to the king, and it can also be gentle and windy.
In the nineteenth year of the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang (731, there are also records of different eras) Wang Weizhuangyuan and the first. When he was serving as a Taile, he was implicated in the lion dance and was demoted to the jeju sicang to join the army. When leaving the capital, Wang Wei composed the poem "The Old Man in Jeju City for the First Time":
Micro-officials are easy to offend, who goes to Jichuanyin.
The ruling party holds the law, and the Ming Emperor has no such heart.
The Luyan River is running, and the jingyi sea is deep.
Even if there is a day of return, each year is troubled.
It can be seen from the poem that the words and deeds of the courtier, or the gentleness and generosity of the poet, can be seen. Gentlemen do not speak ill of each other, and even if they are belittled, they must sincerely admit their mistakes in their hearts and approve of the organization's arrangements and leadership decisions.
Wang Weihaolian said that the emperor did not have the intention of punishing, and the law enforcers demeaned me, but they were just right about things and people, and they were doing the right thing.
Wei Lian did not complain and say strange things, but only euphemistically pity himself, even if I returned to the capital, would I have to wait until the white head?
This mentality of Wang Wei always made him desperate. Even after the Anshi Rebellion, Wang Wei, who had held a pseudo-position, was still reused, and before his death, he achieved the high position of Ren Shangshu Right Cheng.
Second, Liu Changqing's sharp edge
As for Liu Changqing's attitude toward being degraded? Hong Liangji said:
If Wen Fang's "Will Go to the Lingwai to Leave the Title Xiao Temple YuangongYuan" then Zhiyun: "This is to broadcast the idea of moving, what does Baiyun want to stay with?" It hurts Naoya.
Liu Changqing was a jinshi during the Tianbao period, and his career was even more bumpy, and in 756, Liu Changqing, who was a county lieutenant in Changzhou County, Suzhou, was falsely imprisoned, and after being released from amnesty, he was sent to Hongzhou to stand by. The following year was degraded to Panzhou Nanba Wei, a place in today's Maoming City, Guangdong Province.
Before leaving Hongzhou (Nanchang), Liu Changqing traveled to the ancient temple that Huiyuan once presided over, and wrote "Will Go to the Lingwai To Leave the Title Xiao Temple Yuangongyuan":
The bamboo house is closed in the upper seclusion, and the moss path is visiting the old tour.

This time being belittled is the meaning of our wise emperor, why should Baiyun keep me? The Southern Dynasty Tao Hongjing has a poetic cloud: he is in the mountains, and there are many white clouds on the mountains. The Baiyun Sentence Dictionary is derived from this.
Straight, stubborn, straight. Hong Liangji thought that Liu Changqing's tail was too straight and too exposed. From this poem, it can be seen that Liu Changqing is not good at hiding the grievances in his heart. This kind of psychology and behavior is easy to offend people in the official arena, and naturally it will not develop too well.

Changqing Qingcai crowned the world, quite vulgar, sexual rigidity, and many power doors, so the two times were reprimanded, people were wronged.
Third, Meng Haoran's temperament
Meng Haoran originally lived in seclusion in his hometown, and came out to seek an official after middle age, but unfortunately no one introduced him, and his name fell to Sun Shan. Legend has it that he once met Tang Xuanzong, and the emperor had heard his name for a long time and asked him to recite a poem of his own, but Meng Haoran suddenly had a blank mind and read a work that he should not read.
Song "Man Shuo Poetry" Yun:
Meng Haoran's poem: "It is not the master who abandons the lord, and many people who are sick are neglected." Tang Xuanzong heard this: Qing abandons himself, why abandon Qing? Meng Guanshi: "Do not cut down nest trees, move more without master flowers." Zhou Shizong heard that what is "having a nest" and "having no owner" is "having a nest" and "having no owner"? The second son is sitting in poetry, the so-called throat turning touch.
Hong Liangji also said:
Lu Haoran's "forsaken by the Lord" is also the same disease, and it is advisable to see it in the prosperous world.

The Northern Que Hugh wrote the book, and the Southern Mountain returned to the Lulu.
It is not only the Lord who abandons, and many sicknesses and neglect.
The white hair urges old age, and the qingyang forces the age to be removed.
Never sleep, the pine moon night window is empty.
Tang Xuanzong was very unhappy to hear this, it was because you didn't know how to make progress, how could you say that I didn't use you? As a result, Meng Haoran clothed for life.
