Liu Changqing, a poet of the Middle And Tang Dynasties: There is sorrow in the indifference, and what is far away is a sad reading lamp

author:Reading under the lights

Chai Men smell the barking of dogs, and the wind and snow return to people on the night.

Lotus belt oblique sun, green mountains alone back.

The Middle Tang Dynasty poet Liu Changqing was good at writing five-character poems, and considered himself to be the "Great Wall of Five Words", in fact, there were many of his seven-word masterpieces. "After the autumn grass went alone, the cold forest saw the sun slanting in the air", and its "Changsha Over Jia Yi House" is considered to be the best of the Seven Laws of the Tang Dynasty.

And "Don't Liu Shiyuan" is also a seven-word masterpiece. In particular, "the drizzle wet clothes can not be seen, and the idle flowers fall to the ground and listen to the silence" has always been praised by people. However, many of his poems seem indifferent and idle, but in fact they contain sorrow and sorrow.

Spring

Don't Yan Shiyuan Liu Changqing The spring breeze leans on lu city, and the water country is cold and cloudy. The drizzle wet suit could not be seen, and the idle flowers fell to the ground to listen to the silence. The lone sail shadow on the Sun-slanted River, the grass and green lake south of the Wanli love. If the host meets each other, the green robe has now mistaken confucianism.

This is a farewell poem, and the send-off person is Yan Shiyuan. From the following text "on the river" and "Hunan", Yan Shiyuan is about to take a boat to Hunan, and the poet bids farewell to the way by the river.

There is a spring breeze at the time of parting, the boat is moored outside Suzhou, and the weather in the southern water country still carries the cold of spring, and the weather is cloudy and sunny, and the weather is uncertain.

Spring chill on the river

In addition to the spring breeze, there is also spring rain.

Countless poets and lyricists have written about spring rain, Han Yu "The light rain on the street is as crisp as crisp, the grass color is close but there is nothing" writing about the moisture and delicacy of spring rain, Wei Yingwu "Spring tide brings rain late to urgent, wild crossing no one boat crosses" writes the urgency of spring rain, Qin Guan "free flying flowers are light as dreams, boundless silk rain is as fine as sorrow" writes about the fineness and endlessness of spring rain...

Liu Changqing is here, also grasping the characteristics of the "fine" spring rain, to what extent? So fine that it's almost invisible. I didn't find it until my clothes were wet, and I wrote about the delicacy of spring rain.

The flowers fall silently

The last sentence of the flower falling silent also has this situation, the flower falls, there is no sound to be found, with the wind and rain, it falls to the ground. Wet clothes and falling flowers are all caused by spring wind and spring rain. These two sentences write the gentleness of the spring wind, the gentleness of the spring rain, and the gentleness of the falling flowers.

"Lonely sail shadow on the sun-slanted river, grass and green lake south of the wanli situation", the previous sentence stretches the camera from the close proximity of drizzle and falling flowers to the distant view, the sun slopes westward, hanging on the river, and a lone sail is far away in this sunset.

Where to go? The poet has already imagined his friend's destination, Hunan, where the grass is green and stretches for thousands of miles.

Grassy grass

We can see in many poems the poet's parting words, if anyone asks, Wang Changling said "a piece of ice heart in the jade pot." And Liu Changqing? Although there is a long-distance pursuit, but the heart is still cold and lonely, he said that I am a scholar, has been mistaken by the green robe.

In the Tang Dynasty, the color of officials' clothes was related to grade, and more than three pins were purple, more than five pins were crimson, six or seven pins were green, and eight or nine pins were green.

Liu Changqing Tianbao years into the soldier, because of "just committed a crime", twice was degraded, here a sentence was mistaken by the "green robe", the ideal of the reader is to seek to serve the country, but the poet wants to show his ambitions in the career, but he is always depressed and can not, writing out his inner ambition, nostalgic talent does not meet the sorrow and sorrow.

Lonely boat

In Liu Changqing's poems, the recurring images of "slanting sun", "lonely boat" and "Cangshan Mountain" reflect the same emotions in the poet's heart.

Some people interpret the two sentences "Drizzle wet clothes can not be seen, idle flowers fall to the ground and listen to silence" because the poet talks with friends, pours out his feelings, and is in a parting situation, so he has not felt the spring rain, has not noticed the fall of petals, until he suddenly looks back to find that the clothes are wet and the flowers are on the ground.

However, according to the poetry and word order, as the subject of emotional experience, this parting realm of drizzle and falling flowers, the poet has mobilized the senses to "see" to "hear", the result of "seeing" is "not seeing", and the result of "listening" is "silent".
