On December 14, FAW Jiefang J7 Vehicle Intelligent Factory Project was officially completed and put into operation in Changchun. A number of intelligent technologies have greatly improved production efficiency and quality, reaching the world's leading level.
Walking into the factory, the spacious and bright factory building, busy robots and the fully automatic AGV logistics trolley passing through it make the pipe harness assembly worker Liu Yusuo shine. As one of the first workers to settle in a smart factory, he is proud.
Liu Yusuo: The biggest feeling is intelligence, which greatly improves the production beat of the whole vehicle, and the quality is more guaranteed.
Some workers on the production line used to have heavy loads, and now they use robots instead. Liu Yuan, equipment engineer of the assembly process room of the FAW Jiefang Technology Development Department, introduced that the automatic tire assembly technology used here has reached the world's leading level.
Liu Shuo: We have adopted self-guiding trolleys in the new production line instead of the original plate chain traction, improving the conveying accuracy of the product; 6 robots have replaced the original manual assembly of tires. Realize 100% automatic assembly of tires in all strains, and 100% tire assembly pass rate. The monitoring rate of key processes is 100%.
And these are just a microcosm of the digital and intelligent production of smart factories. Yan Wenlong, chief engineer of digital manufacturing of FAW Jiefang Technology Development Department, said that hard-core technologies such as digital intelligence controllability, unmanned distribution and visual operation in the whole process of production have made FAW Jiefang full of vitality.
Yan Wenlong: At present, in the case of production at the same production line, 10% to 20% of the personnel can be saved, and the overall labor efficiency improvement is also about 20%. The improvement in quality is about 5% to 10% contribution rate.
It is understood that with the efforts of Jilin Province, municipality, district government and FAW Jiefang, the FAW Jiefang J7 vehicle intelligent factory project took only 18 months to complete construction.
Lu Xiaodong, director of the Liberation Service Bureau of Changchun Automobile Development Zone, said that FAW Jiefang J7 Vehicle Intelligent Factory is a world-class commercial vehicle production base integrating informatization, digitalization and intelligence, which is of great practical significance for promoting the continuous growth of the automobile industry in Jilin Province, the continuous upgrading of the industrial structure, and the continuous extension of the industrial chain.
