The ancient book with its own hot search physique- "Yongle Canon" has come to Wuhan.
On Friday, the Hubei Provincial Library unveiled three original copies of the Jiajing copy of the Yongle Canon and began a month-long exhibition.

There was a reason for Dai Lao to praise it, and the original of the 3 volumes of the Yongle Canon was out of Beijing at the same time, which was the first time. Moreover, the National Library of China, the collector of the library, is very attentive, and the 3 originals exhibited in Wuhan this time are all related to Hubei.
Among the exhibition pages of the three originals are the poems "Wind Clear Parrot Island, the Yellow Crane Tower with a Full Moon", and there is also Cui Hao, who climbed the Yellow Crane Tower to chant poems. There is also a volume of "Chen" characters, which contains the deeds of the "History of Song" that listed stereotypes, involving Anlu in Hubei Province.
At the scene, in addition to a glimpse of the original style of the canon (although it is separated by glass), everyone can also use the "interactive touch screen" to consult the "Yongle Canon" database, see the high-definition color images of the canon, use graphic and text comparison, layout restoration and other retrieval functions.

Written during the reign of Emperor Ming Chengzu Zhu Di Yongle and re-recorded in the Jiajing dynasty, the Yongle Canon is 11,095 volumes, 22,877 volumes, and more than 370 million words, making it "the largest encyclopedia ever recorded in the world".
What is the significance of this book other than the tome? Professor Xie Gui'an of the School of History of Wuhan University said that the Yongle Canon contains 7,000 or 8,000 kinds of books in various disciplines before the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, which is convenient for ancient people without computers to retrieve and use. What is even more difficult is that when compiling the book, the literature is hardly deleted or changed.
This is too important for studying history. For example, the Old Five Dynasties History and the Notes on the Water Classics were compiled from the Yongle Canon (both of which had previously been lost).
In addition to the precious content, the Yongle Canon has become a legend, and it has been circulated since then.
After the "Yongle Canon" was written, it was hidden in the forbidden place of the deep palace, and only the royal family read it. The Jiajing Emperor was particularly fond of it, fearing that the fire would be affected, and re-recorded the copy. Since then, the Yongle Canon has appeared "Yongle Original" and "Jiajing Copy".
All that survives today are copies of Jiajing. Where did the original go? No one knows.
The Encyclopædia Britannica is arranged in 26 letters in English, while the Yongle Canon is classified by "word". At that time, there was a book called "Hongwu Zhengyun", and there were many words under each rhyme, and each word represented a category.
The whereabouts of the original are unknown, and the copy is also ill-fated. Due to the mismanagement of the court, the war and the looting of the great powers, the number of volumes was reduced from 11,095 to 64.
Up to now, only more than 400 volumes, more than 800 volumes and some zero leaves (pages) have been found, which is less than 4% of the original book, scattered in the hands of more than 30 public and private collectors in 8 countries and regions.
After nearly half a century of efforts by the Chinese people, the National Library has now collected more than 200 volumes.
In order to better protect the Yongle Canon, the National Library of China uses only one volume of the Yongle Canon in each drawer of the collection.
For those "Yongle Canon" who have not yet returned to their hometowns, the library has also reserved a place, looking forward to returning home as soon as possible.
