Inauguration of the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of the National Library

On April 26, on the occasion of the 22nd World Intellectual Property Day, the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of the National Library of China was officially inaugurated. The center will do a good job of low-level support for scientific and technological innovation.

The National Library of China has always insisted on promoting and disseminating the concept of intellectual property culture through various channels and methods, and has carried out patent, trademark, geographical indication and other types of intellectual property information retrieval, new search, analysis and certification services for central state organs, key scientific research and education production units, various innovative and entrepreneurial entities and the public. With the unremitting efforts of Guotu, the overall level of intellectual property information services in the mainland library community has also been improved.

After the Guotu Intellectual Property Information Service Center, it will work with the public library community to promote the construction of the intellectual property service system, do a good job in the low-level support of high-quality development of intellectual property rights and scientific and technological innovation, deeply cultivate intellectual property research and services in the field of culture and tourism, cultivate public awareness of intellectual property rights, create a strong intellectual property cultural atmosphere, and promote the construction of an intellectual property power.

In order to coincide with the unveiling of the center, Guotu opened the theme exhibition "The Mission of libraries: Protecting Intellectual Property Rights to Lead Knowledge Sharing" at the Classic Books Museum. The exhibition uses the documents collected by the National Map to show the development and changes of the mainland's intellectual property system, lists the great achievements of the mainland's intellectual property cause in recent years in an illustrated manner, interprets the strategic plan for the construction of an intellectual property power, and systematically sorts out and displays the work and services carried out by the National Library in the field of intellectual property. The exhibition strives to disseminate the ip culture concept of "respect for knowledge, advocating innovation, integrity and law-abiding, and fair competition" from the perspective of the library. The exhibition will be on view until late May.
