The Song Dynasty was a dynasty that emphasized literature over military force, and for this, the Song Dynasty also paid a considerable price. Among them, the famous anti-Jin general Yue Fei lamented in "ManJiang Hong": Jing Kang shame, You Weixue; the courtiers hate, when to extinguish.
In the seventh year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1125), the Jin army attacked the Song Dynasty from the south in the east and west.
Emperor Huizong of Song saw that the situation was in danger, so Zen was located in the position of Prince Zhao Huan, who was for Emperor Qinzong of Song.
In the first month of the first year of Jing Kang (1126), Yan Zonghan led the Jin army to the capital city and forced the Song to negotiate and withdraw their troops, and the Jin people demanded that the Great Song give him five million two gold and fifty million two silver coins, and cede the three towns of Zhongshan, Hejian and Taiyuan. In August of the same year, the Jin army attacked the Song in two more ways; in Leap November, the Jin army and the two army divisions attacked Beijing. Song Qinzong personally went to the Jin people's camp to negotiate peace, and was detained by the Jin people.

In addition to the Second Emperor Hui Qin, there were also a large number of more than 3,000 people from the Zhao royal family, harem concubines, guiqing, courtiers, etc., who went north to the Golden Kingdom, and the public and private savings in Tokyo Were empty.
Although the Jin Dynasty captured many Song Dynasty clans during the Jing Kang Rebellion, King Zhao Of Kang was one of them. In the second year of Jingkang (1127), Zhao Zhuo went south from Jeju to the capital Nanjing Yingtianfu and became Emperor Gaozong of Song, and at Hongqing Palace, he built the Temple of Taizu, changed yuan jianyan, and rebuilt the Song Dynasty.
But Zhao Zhuo died at the age of 81, and at the age of 56, he passed the throne to Zhao Kuangyin, why is this?
I. Zhao Zhao was ordered to rebuild the Song Dynasty, the Emperor of the Half Road, and "return to Zhao after the end of the Bibi"
Emperor Gaozong of Song was the founding emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty, the ninth son of Emperor Huizong of Song and the younger brother of Emperor Zhao Huan of Song.
After the Jing Kang Rebellion, Jin Bing captured his father Emperor Huizong of Song and his brother Emperor Qinzong of Song, bringing the Northern Song era to an end. Zhao Shuo, who was then the King of Kang, was located in Yingtianfu in Nanjing and established the Southern Song Dynasty.
During his reign, he was forced by the situation and the people's hearts, on the one hand, he appointed Yue Fei, Han Shizhong, and other generals of the main war faction to resist the Jin army, and on the other hand, he reused Huang Qianshan, Wang Boyan, Wang Lun, Qin Ju, and others of the main war faction, blindly seeking peace, executing Yue Fei, and later deposing Li Gang, Zhang Jun, Han Shizhong, and other ministers of the main war faction.
In the thirty-second year of Shaoxing (1162), Zen was located in the crown prince Zhao Xuan. In the fourteenth year of Chunxi (1187), he died at Deoksugung Palace at the age of eighty-one, becoming one of the few long-lived emperors in Chinese history.
From Zhao Shuo's entire experience, it can be seen that he originally came out halfway out to pick up a cheap seat on the throne, plus he has been running and running away since the founding of the country. He was really afraid, on the one hand, he was afraid that the Jin people would go south, so he trembled and reused the lord and the generals; on the other hand, he did not dare to offend the people, and continued to appoint anti-Jin generals to recover the lost land.
Zhao Shuo's day on the throne was like a needle felt, hoping to give up the throne earlier, and he could also settle down.

Protect yourself and be alone
Zhao Zhuo had only one biological son, named Zhao Xu. In the third year of Jianyan (1129), the Miao-Liu Mutiny occurred in the Song Dynasty, and Miao Fu and Liu Zhengyan put Emperor Gaozong of Song under house arrest and later supported him as emperor. When the chancellor Zhang Jun heard of this, he sent an army to quell the rebellion and re-support emperor Gaozong of Song to ascend the throne, and he was restored to the position of crown prince. Later, Zhao Xu died of fright due to the negligence of the palace maid nanny, at the age of 2.
As soon as Zhao Shuo's biological son died, he was left with only two adopted sons.
In order to be auspicious and joyful in his later life and to be able to smooth things after his death, he had to consider giving up the throne that everyone aspired to be orthodox.
Especially in feudal society, a place that pays attention to blood and orthodoxy. Zhao Zhuo had to return to Zhao Kuangyin's line to preserve his reputation in the history books.
Zhao Zhuo had a rough life, and he was afraid to run the situation of the Southern Song Dynasty, both afraid and helpless. Later, after Zhao Shuo abdicated, he claimed that he no longer cared about the politics of the dynasty, but in fact indirectly "interfered in some political affairs." But Zhao Zhuo gave way to Song Taizu's pulse, on the one hand, to throw out this hot potato, on the other hand, to protect himself, he was really too difficult.
