How do musicians face transformation? In Peng Tao's view, in addition to entering the relevant units of the music profession, musicians must also learn to transform to "adapt themselves to the market and enter the market". He suggested that musicians need to improve their comprehensive quality and professional ability, "If you work in cultural centers, music associations and other public institutions, you need to improve your organizational coordination ability and ability to communicate with people." If you start your own business and become a music production company, you must improve your management ability and ability to grasp market demand. Peng Tao said.

So how can musicians adapt to market demand? Peng Tao believes that paying more attention to the types of music that the public likes and "communicating" with the market is the focus, not limited to their own small circles. For example, musicians majoring in bel canto singing popular and popular songs; musicians with symphony composition majors can try to write more popular, ethnic and other songs to broaden their career development routes.

Peng Tao said that the IP around the music itself has great potential to be tapped and can bring more opportunities to young musicians. Pan-music industries such as film and television companies, game animation, and music derivatives can all be their future development goals. At the same time, the Internet era also provides more display platforms for young musicians, and online music performances, music education, song production, etc. have increased their revenue channels.

"The creative environment in Chengdu is very friendly to musicians. Making music is a costly business, and the cost of living in Chengdu will be lower than that of Beijing and Shanghai, and there are many support policies for young musicians, which can be said to solve our 'worries'. A live "Rong Drift" independent musician told reporters.

The event was hosted by the Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Wuhou District of Chengdu City, the Career Guidance Center for Graduates of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, and co-organized by the Chengdu Music Workshop Construction Management Committee .
