For children, especially in the first and second grades, the impact of school transfer is relatively large, and it often takes a long time to adapt. So how should teachers and parents help children adapt to the new learning life?

If the transfer student is bored with school and does not fit in, the following factors should be considered:

First, the language barrier

Although mandarin is used during class, students may use dialects to communicate after class. For example, in the Chaoshan area, Chaoshan dialect is spoken, Meizhou speaks Hakka dialect, and Guangzhou speaks vernacular. Once there is a language barrier, transfer students are easily isolated. Therefore, teachers should encourage students to communicate in Mandarin when they are in school.

Second, the learning style is not adaptable

For example, in the original school, the learning task is relatively light. The second grade learning tasks are definitely heavier than those in the first grade, and the teacher will certainly put forward higher requirements. If the original foundation is relatively weak, it is often impossible to keep up for a while. However, the emergence of aversion to school indicates that the situation has become more serious. Parents need to pay attention. You can learn the details from the teacher, and during the winter vacation, you can check and fill in the gaps in a targeted manner.

Third, there is no sense of belonging

The child's reluctance to go to school shows that the child does not have a sense of belonging to the class. For example, I transferred at the end of the first grade, because my grades were still good, so the homeroom teacher made me the deputy class president, providing me with a platform to communicate with my classmates. During the class activities, I was very active, and I got acquainted with the classmates in the class.
