Recently, we learned from relevant sources that Porsche has launched a special limited edition 911 GT3 designed for the Australian market, and this year marks the 70th anniversary of Porsche's entry into Australia.

Porsche's story in Australia began when Norman Hamilton brought two 356s to Australia in 1951, and the body color of the new car was a tribute to the 356's fish-silver-gray metallic paint, a color developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur specifically for this model.
Based on the 911 GT3, the model features a special emblem with the national flag, checked seats and a range of unique interior design features. Porsche said that this is the first time that a special edition model for a specific market has been created on the 911 GT product, and it is also the first time that a special edition has been launched for the Australian market.
Porsche also hosted a celebration with special guests including former Formula One racer and world endurance champion Mark Webber, and a range of classic Porsches including the 356 and 928 were also on display.
