Recently, Porsche officially posted a teaser video of Porsche's new 911 Sport Classic on social media, which was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of Porsche's legendary model 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Featuring design elements from the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and a more retro look, the new car is expected to be officially unveiled during the year and will be released as a limited edition model next year.
In terms of appearance, the front face shape of Porsche's new 911 Sport Classic is basically the same as that of the current model, and the round headlights with three-stage air intakes make the new car look very retro. In order to highlight the identity of the commemorative model, the new car has a recessed design on the roof and a newly designed wheel hub underneath. The most prominent feature of the rear part of the car is the installation of a large ducktail shape spoiler, which further deepens the retro attributes of the new car.
Powerly, Porsche's new 911 Sport Classic is powered by the 3.0T twin-turbo six-cylinder engine of the Carrera GTS model and uses all-wheel drive, with a maximum power of 352 kW and a peak torque of 569N·m, surpassing the 3.0T model of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT.
