Because before the death of the Shunzhi Emperor, in view of the fact that the regent Dolgun was arbitrarily and chaotic, he was very wary of the kings of the clan, so he adopted the method of assisting the young emperor Kangxi Emperor with a different surname, Xun Qi Gongchen, and Aobai thus became one of the four auxiliary ministers, ranking fourth.
The four auxiliary ministers, Ao Bai ranked last, originally could not set off any storms, but the first soni and the third ranked Shu Bilong and Ao Bai together produced two yellow flags, and the second ranked Suksaha was from the two white flags, once a confidant of Dolgun, after Dolgun's death, although in time to expose Dolgun to protect himself, but the two white flags and the two yellow flags of the feud was not resolved.

After the Kangxi Emperor rehabilitated Aobai, when the Yongzheng Emperor ascended the throne, he greatly improved the posthumous treatment of Aobai, which was "to give sacrifices and burials, to restore the first class of dukes, to hereditary, and to add the title of Chaowu".
However, after the Qianlong Emperor ascended the throne, it was interesting, in the ancient environment of advocating "filial piety to rule the world", it can be said that it was openly opposed to his father, the Yongzheng Emperor, in the forty-fifth year of Qianlong (1780), the Qianlong Emperor proclaimed to his subjects, "Pursue the crime of worshiping the dukes, order to stop attacking the dukes, and still attack the first-class men; and order those who were falsely accused of slandering the ministers at that time, and those who had taken over the world's offices, each banner was observed, and their descendants were recorded."
At this point, Aobai went through three dynasties, was rehabilitated in the late Kangxi Dynasty, was raised in the Yongzheng Dynasty, and was "beaten back to its original form" in the late Qianlong Dynasty, and was demoted in treatment, which was equivalent to restoring the treatment of the Kangxi Dynasty.
Of course, the Qianlong Emperor was not Xiao Zhicao's restoration of Ao bai treatment, but also went a step further, taking into account the victims of that year, ordered that among the ministers persecuted by Ao Bai, there were those who were deprived of their worldly posts, and the investigation and statistics of each banner were reported, and their descendants should be hired.
Why did the Qianlong Emperor do this?

Who was the Yongzheng Emperor?

The Yongzheng Emperor was still good for the harshness of officials, and for the increasingly loose and dark rule of officials in the late Kangxi period, it actually played a reversible, good direction.
