Kangxi ascended the throne at a young age, and was later taken solely by Aobai, in order to regain power, Kangxi secretly trained a group of young guards, who were brave and skilled in wrestling.
Finally waiting for the opportunity, at the Wuying Hall to capture the then manchu Qing first warrior Ao Bai, Kangxi purged the Ao Bai faction and began a pro-government career.

In film and television dramas and novels, those wrestling teenagers who helped Kangxi catch Aobai later became famous, and some even became extremely popular. But how did they end up in real history?
Zhengshi is far less wonderful than literary works, and in the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", there are only a few sentences:
"On that day, when the prayers are seen, the guards and so on are to be swept away. Therefore, there is a system of good camps, and it is led by close subjects. (Draft History of the Qing Dynasty)

These wrestling teenagers, in the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", did not mention their names at all, let alone write their endings in detail. It can be seen that in Kangxi's mind, they were mainly guards with high martial skills, rather than courtiers who could stand alone.
In the Kangxi Capture Ao Worship, the two people who benefited the most were Suo Ertu and Mingzhu, although they did not play in person at the critical moment, but they contributed a lot to the plot behind the scenes.
Later, both of them were extremely popular subjects, known as Suo Xiang and Ming Xiang.

However, as their power increased, their ambitions swelled, and Kangxi's suspicions about them also increased, eventually leading to their disrepute. Soetu even has a similar ending to Aobai.

At that time, the young people who helped Kangxi capture Aobai, Kangxi did not disband them on the spot, but became the Shanpu battalion, as the emperor's personal bodyguard, directly under the emperor, the scale of more than three hundred people, a bit like a special force, the selection is extremely strict.
"There is no limit to the number of Presidential Ministers of the Shanpo Camp. Metropolitan Commander, Forward Commander, Escort Commander, Deputy Commander Inner Special Jane. The left and right wings are three men each. The guards of the headquarters camp teach and the guards of each battalion are selected in Jingjing. Two assistant wing chiefs. Wing commander concurrently. Pen-and-post six people. The base camp selects the Eight Banners Warriors to learn the horn skills, and the subordinates are prepared to guard the guards. It is estimated that those teenagers at that time should have been rewarded by Kangxi, and then did some middle-level and grass-roots leadership positions in the Shanpu camp.
