According to the information provided by the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Lu'an City, Anhui Province, the alcohol content, also known as the alcohol degree, refers to the number of milliliters containing ethanol (alcohol) in 100 ml of liquor at 20 ° C, that is, the percentage of volume (capacity). Alcohol content is a physical and chemical index of liquor, and the content is not up to standard mainly affects the quality of the product. The reason why the alcohol content does not meet the explicit requirements of the product label may be that the production process control of individual enterprises is not strict or the production process level is low, and the alcohol content cannot be accurately controlled; it may also be that individual enterprises use low-grade wine to pass off as high alcohol in order to reduce costs; or it may be that the inspection equipment of the production enterprise is not verified or the inspection process is not standardized, resulting in deviations in the inspection results.

Cyclamate, whose chemical name is sodium cyclohexylsulfamate, is a sweetener commonly used in food production, but according to the "gb2760-2014 Food Additive Use Standards", in alcoholic foods, in addition to the preparation of wine allowed to add, the addition limit is 0.65g / kg, in other distilled wine (liquor), fermented wine (wine, rice wine, beer) are not available. The main reason for the cyclamate exceeding the standard may be that the manufacturer lacks the knowledge of the corresponding food additives and cannot judge whether it is legally added; it may also be that the manufacturer arbitrarily adds it in order to improve the taste of the wine.

The Lu'an Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Anhui Province said that for the unqualified products found in the sampling inspection, the local market supervision department has been instructed to immediately organize verification and disposal, find out the flow of products, and take measures such as removing the shelves and recalling unqualified products to control risks; for violations of laws and regulations, strictly deal with them according to law.
