On this day, Zhuge Jue knew that he would soon die, so he called his wives and children to the bedside and ordered them to return to his hometown to join his brother Zhuge Xuan after his death.
Three days after Zhuge Jue's instructions, he died of illness. This year was the fifth year of Zhongping of the Han Ling Emperor (188 AD).

Zhuge Liang lost his parents at an early age, and in the years of war and chaos, it can be said that the youth was unfortunate. Fortunately, he was taken care of by his uncle Zhuge Xuan, and he also had no worries about food and clothing.
His elder brother Zhuge Jin was seven years older than Zhuge Liang, and he had studied at Luoyang Taixue, specializing in Mao Shi, Shang Shu, and Zuo Chuan Chunqiu, with excellent results. Later, in order to take care of his younger siblings, Zhuge Jin resolutely gave up his studies and returned to his hometown. It goes without saying that he has become the "tutor" of his siblings.
Zhuge Liang was intelligent and studious, and the books he read never forgot, and were deeply loved by his uncle Zhuge Xuan and his brother Zhuge Jin.
