Mao Zequan

In 1941, a shanghai progressive female student named Xu Jiping and several classmates prepared to go to Yan'an, but due to the secret obstruction of the Kuomintang reactionaries, they joined the ranks of the New Fourth Army. Because xu Jiping and most of the others were female students, it was unrealistic to carry guns to the battlefield, not to mention that in that era, intellectuals were very important to our party, so our army arranged for them to be responsible for rear deployment and supply work.
Among these female students, Xu Jiping's academic performance was the best, and because her father was still a teacher, Xu Jiping had a cultural background far superior to others, and was assigned as an accountant in the supply department of the second sub-district of Central Jiangsu. Not long after working, Xu Jiping was promoted to unit chief because of her excellent performance, and she was considered a cadre. Soon after, due to the merger and reorganization of the troops, a new deputy minister named Wang Xun was added to the Supply Department, leaving a good impression on Xu Jiping.
Wang Xun, the new deputy minister of supply, looks in his 30s, with dark skin and a simple smile on his face, and he looks like the kind of rural youth who have been farming in the countryside for many years and have no culture and have never seen the world. What's more, Xu Jiping believed in the organization, and since the organization approved their marriage, this showed that Wang Xun's identity background was absolutely no problem.
Until the spring of 1950, shortly after the founding of New China, with the approval of the organization, Wang Xun could use his original name Mao Zequan, but Mao Zequan, who had long been accustomed to the name Wang Xun, did not specifically "publicize" the name "Mao Zequan" and the meaning it represented. In the summer of the same year, Wang Xun went on a business trip to Beijing and was received by Chairman Mao in Zhongnanhai. After returning, Wang Xun excitedly told his wife Xu Jiping: I have gone to Beijing to meet my cousin Chairman Mao!
Upon hearing this, Xu Jiping's nose was almost distorted: I have been married to you for 7 years, and I have given birth to 3 children, and it is not like you will deceive people when you honestly make friends, I did not expect that you hid it for so long, and it turns out that the name Mao Zequan also has a layer of meaning Mao Zedong's brother Mao Zequan.

In 1925, Chairman Mao returned to Shaoshan to carry out the peasant movement, and It was Mao Zequan who listened to the propaganda of his cousin Chairman Mao and actively participated in the peasant movement. And the more Mao Zequan deeply understood the revolution, the more he admired his cousin Mao Zedong, and after the defeat of the Great Revolution, Mao Zequan left his hometown without hesitation to understand the larger world like his cousin Mao Zedong.
Chairman Mao was in Yan'an
During this period, Mao Zequan successively went to Nanjing, Shanghai and other places, and after the outbreak of the War of Resistance, Mao Zequan seized the opportunity and gambled everything to go to Yan'an with 3 young people of the Mao family. Soon after, Mao Zequan was assigned to the border area cooperative as an administrator, because of his conscientious and responsible work, he joined our party half a year later, and entered the Yan'an Central Party School in January of the following year. After graduating from the party school, Mao Zequan assumed the pseudonym Wang Xun, and no longer had any contact with Chairman Mao, starting as an ordinary soldier and demanding himself strictly as a party member, the more arduous and difficult the work, the more he had to stand on the front line and never shouted bitterness.
Half a year later, Mao Zequan was promoted to station chief and instructor for his outstanding performance, and continued to stay in his logistics post to serve the people's army. Fortress Garden
With this experience, during the Liberation War, Mao Zequan successively founded a quilt factory, towels, shoes and socks, and made great contributions to solving the military supply of the troops. Mao Zequan was well aware of the importance of logistical supplies to the army, and no matter how difficult the difficulties he faced, he did his best to ensure the supply of troops.
In the summer of 1950, Mao Zequan went to Beijing for a meeting and took the time to visit his cousin Chairman Mao in Zhongnanhai, but after graduating from the Central Party School in 1938, they broke off contact and have not seen each other for 12 years. Now that I see my cousin again, Chairman Mao is also very happy and asks: Where have you been all these years? Since the separation of Yan'an, I have not been able to find you.
Mao Zequan replied truthfully: After leaving the party school, I changed my name to Wang Xun and worked in the logistics department since the grassroots level.
Knowing that his cousin did not flaunt his martial prowess in the slightest, let alone use his relationship to make a special one, Chairman Mao was very happy and said humorously: Good! The king character is upright, unlike the mao character with a tail. A joke that instantly erased the sense of distance between the cousins, whom they hadn't seen in 12 years.
Chairman Mao and Mao Ze's whole family

In 1974, Mao Zequan's only son, Mao Yuanjian, joined the army and was randomly assigned to a remote border, which was not only difficult, but also dangerous to fight. After saying this, Xu Jiping was afraid of her remorse, and hung up the phone without waiting for her comrades-in-arms to reply.
